Wayne. He was born in Deer Creek on October 9, 1911 to Frank and Effie (Mummert) Fouts. Fouts married Blanche Marie Cattin on November 26, 1954. He was a self-employed carpenter, and a member of the Center Chapel United Brethren Church. His hobbies included fishing and crocheting, especially afghan's. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by three sons, Michael Fouts and wife Patti, Ft. Wayne, Robert Fouts and wife Kathy, Sun Lakes, Arizona, and Wayne Fouts and wife Gisele, Fountain Valley, California; one brother, Richard Fouts, Kokomo; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two step-daughters. Fouts was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one daughter, Linda Kay; two sisters; and six brothers. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, with Pastor Al Peck officiating. Burial will be at the Roann Community Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lion's Club Eye Bank and/or the Northeastern Indiana Hospice. on April 19, 2005.2

Reimund, both of Fort Wayne; daughters Jennifer R. Sarrazin, Bethany A. Maple and Megan R. Pennycoff, all of Fort Wayne; sisters Judy Esterline of Fort Wayne and Suzanne Eckerly of Peru; a brother, Mike Fouts of Fort Wayne; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Pennycoff. Memorial services are 11 a.m. Friday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 S. Anthony Blvd. There is no calling. Memorials are to Visiting Nurse Service's Hospice Home or the church. on January 19, 2000.2

Survivors are the parents; their paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cattin of Route 2; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Otho Webb of Fort Wayne; two great-grandmothers, Mrs. Paul Cattin of Route 2 and Mrs. Tibbetts of Peru; and a great-grandfather, Hugh Rupp of Peru. Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'lock Tuesday afternoon from the funeral home. Burial was in the Roann I.O.O.F. cemetery. on July 10, 1951.1
