She is survived by two sons, Ray Clemons of Grants, N.M. and Roger Clemons of Christiansburg; two daughters, Robin Hogan of Blue Ridge and Ruby Akers of Va; three sisters, Mary Akers of Hillsville, Linda Duncan of Riner, and Patty Reed of Floyd; two brothers, Russell Akers of Floyd and Henry Akers of Floyd; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Bishop and the Rev. Ray Clemons officiating. Interment will follow at Sowers Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Saturday at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd is in charge of the arrangements. on May 15, 2004.²
