He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Virginia Bailey; a sister, Betty Childress; and special sister-in-law, Karen Howery. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nita Howery Bailey; son, James Bailey; grandsons, Tyler and Devin Bailey; great-granddaughter, Nova Bailey; his sister, Patricia Correll and husband Larry; and his special canine friend, Jazzie. A special word of thanks with love to Buck's caregivers, Amanda, Jimmy and Tyler. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Hilton Jeffreys officiating. on March 10, 2019.4

Mr. Rogstad was a longtime area resident and businessman and served with the Army in the Korean War. He was active in the Spirit Lake community and served on the Spirit Lake City Council prior to moving to the Hayden area. Mr. Rogstad was a past member of the Coeur d'Alene Elks and had served as president of the Sportsman Club, and the Spirit Lake Lions Club, and was past Noble Grand of the Oddfellow Lodge. He was active as a Little League baseball coach and enjoyed sports, camping, hunting and fishing. Mr. Rogstad drew a one-time permit to hunt moose this last hunting season and was successful in filling his tag. He and his wife, Doryne, later divorced. He married his second wife, Edie. She preceded him in death. Survivors include three children, Kim and Tim Rogstad and Cindy Roth; three grandchildren; and his former wife, Doryne. Memorials may be made to Timberlake Little League, P.O. Box 472, Spirit Lake, ID 83869. on June 17, 2004.3
