Conway, 91, Webb City, Mo., passed away Monday evening, Oct. 31, 2016 at Freeman Hospital West, Joplin, Mo. Eula Mae Conway was born Jan. 3, 1925 in La Russell, Mo., to the late Oral Conway and Mindie (Smith) Conway. She graduated from Alba High School, Class of 1943, and later attended Franklin Tech for two years. Eula worked as an LPN for Oak Hill Hospital for 36 years. She was a member of the Alba Christian Church. Survivors include one brother, William "Bill" Conway (wife Naomi), Joplin, Mo; two sisters, Allene Hunt, Joplin, Mo., and Erma Garrison, Joplin, Mo; four nieces, one nephew, and nine great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Connie Carder and Irene Conway. Graveside funeral services were held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Webb City, Mo. Minister Roger Hasselquist and Minister Galen King officiated. Special music played was "Serenaded by Angels" and "Amazing Grace." Memorial gifts are suggested to the Alba Christian Church, 208 S. College, Webb City, MO 64870. on November 9, 2016.4

Allene Hunt and husband Bill, of Joplin, Erma Garrison of Joplin; one brother, Bill Conway and wife Naomi of Joplin; and four nieces, Kim Kolins, of New York, Atalaya Garrison, Yvette Rider, Shawna Christiansen and one Nephew Lilburn Jr. Garrison of West Virginia. Private family services will be held at a later date.
