Ruby was born in Mammoth on November 2, 1922, to the late Ola and Mertha Frame Landers. She was a member of the Little Creek Church of Jesus Christ and a nurse at the former Mountain State Nursing Home, Charleston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence McDaniel; sons, Jimmy and Jerry McDaniel; daughters, Alice Sater and Linda McDaniel; grandchildren, Belinda, Clayton, Allen and Shelia; great-grandchildren, Dale and Angela; several brothers and sisters. Ruby is survived by her children, Cecil (Janet) McDaniel, Darrell (Alma) McDaniel and Judy (Timmy) Green, all of Malden; daughter-in-law, Linda Reed McDaniel of Nitro; son-in-law, Jim McDaniel of Elkview; brother, Stanley (Shirley) Landers of Campbell's Creek; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Ritha Hamilton of Cross Lanes; 25 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and 45 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 20, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastors Sherry Green Perdue and Ginger Hodge officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. A visitation with family and friends will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 19, at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Kanawha Hospice and all the care givers for the love and care given to their mother. on October 18, 2018.²

     Willis Edward Bosley Willis Edward Bosley, age 91, of Winifrede, died September 27, 2018. He was born in Upshur County, WV, on July 16, 1927, to the late Forrest and Freda Linger Bosley. He was predeceased by his former wife and mother of his children, Alma Lee Bosley; his sons, Edward L. Bosley, Willis L. Bosley; and granddaughter, Kris Akers. He was a member of the Winifrede Presbyterian Church and a former shop foreman and electrician for U.S. Steel, Winifrede, and a member of the UMWA. He is survived by his wife, Frances; children, Daivid L. Bosley (Judy) of Shreveport, LA, Karen L. Bosley Buckton (Ron) of Rock Cave, WV, Patricia A. Bosley Skeens (Mike) of Dunbar, WV; daughters-in-law, Glora A. Bosley of Beckley, Sherry L. Bosley of Chesapeake, WV; brothers, Walter Bosley of Nashville, TN, Waytman Bosley of Alton, WV, Richard Bosley of Kilbuck, OH; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. "Ed" Bosley was buried at Indian Camp Cemetery, Upshur Co., West Virginia.^5,6 He was born on June 11, 1945 at Montgomery, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^2,5,6 He married Gloria Ann Breaud on November 24, 1967 at Winchester, Virginia.^2,6 Edward L. "Ed" Bosley died on April 16, 2017 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 71.^5,6 He Edward L. Bosley, 71 of Beckley, WV passed away from a sudden illness on Sunday April 16, 2017. Born June 11, 1945, he was the son of Willis Edward Bosley and the late Alma Lee McDaniel. Edward attended St. Francis Catholic Church. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Edward retired from Verizon Telephone Company after 37 years of service. He was a Master Mason from the Putnam Lodge of Hurricane. Edward enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, working on his camp and being with his family. In addition to his mother, Edward is preceded in death by his brother, Bud Bosley. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 49 years, Glora Ann Breaud Bosley; father, Willis Edward Bosley and wife, Frances of Winifred, WV; daughters, Lea Ann Nairn and husband, Jeff of League City, TX, Heather Cormier and fiancée Byron Fobbs of Lafayette, LA; brother, David Bosley and wife, Judy of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Karen Buckton and husband, Ron of Rock Creek, WV, Patty Skeens and husband, Mike of Dunbar, WV; grandchildren, Josef Nairn, Chase Cormier and Sophie Cormier; great-grandchild, Collin Nairn; also several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 am Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Ron Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Camp Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. on April 20, 2017.⁶

     Karen Lynn Bosley Karen Lynn Buckton, 68 of Rock Cave, WV, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Mon General Hospital. She was born May 29, 1950 in Charleston, WV; the daughter of the late Willis E. and Alma Lee (McDaniels) Bosley. Karen was a retired accountant and she owned Horsefeathers Art, which made soap. She was a member of the Star Gazers Garden Club and Artistry on Main and served as a Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Rock Cave. Karen is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ronald N. Buckton; two children, Ronald Aaron Buckton and wife Lindsey and Sarah (Buckton) Roberts; four granddaughters, Alexandra Buckton, Gwynneth Buckton, Kiera Buckton and Ellymae Roberts; two siblings, Patricia Ann Skeens of Dunbar, WV and David Bosley of Shereveport, LA. In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by two brothers, Edward L. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. Charles Helloms Jr. officiating. The body will be cremated. on July 24, 2003.⁶
