     Ronald Melvin "Ronnie" Radford was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan, Botetourt Co., Virginia.^4,5 He was born on September 13, 1948 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^8,4,5,6 He married Betty Ann Duff on March 7, 1968 at Augusta Co., Virginia.^4,5,7 Ronald Melvin "Ronnie" Radford died on May 12, 2008 at Virginia at age 59.^8,4,5 He Ronald (Ronnie) Melvin Radford, 59, of Buchanan, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008. Born September 13, 1948, in Floyd County, to the late Melvin and Violet Underwood Radford. He was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Evan Dewitt Newcomb and James Louis Smith. Back in the day, Ronnie was an avid hunter and fisherman. More recently he spent time enjoying his grandkids and occasionally hanging out at the farm with his special friends, the Hubbard Family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Duff Radford; his three girls and their husbands, Missy and Allen Newcomb, Joyce Smith and Vicky and James Campbell; his cherished grandchildren, Dylan and Sydney Newcomb, and Jordan and Jared Campbell; sister, Patricia Hayslett; brothers and sister-in-law, Jerrold and Marie Radford, and Stanley Radford; three nieces; three nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2008, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl B. Clemons officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Va., 540-254-3000. on May 14, 2008.⁴

     Jerrold Douglas Radford was born on June 27, 1950.⁵ He married Elizabeth Marie Unknown circa 1979.³ Jerrold Douglas Radford died on May 8, 2011 at Virginia at age 60.^5,3 He Jerrold Douglas Radford, 60, of Buchanan, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011. Jerrold was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved and will be sadly missed. He was the Manager of Arcadia Shell for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Violet Underwood Radford; and brother, Ronnie Radford. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Elizabeth Marie Radford; daughters, Joyce Ann (Joe) Lugar and Samantha (Stull) Watts, all of Buchanan; sons, Jesse Allen Goff, of Buchanan, and John (Dorothy) Thompson, of Bedford; grandchildren, Korey Watts, Angel Thompson, and Kayla Thompson; brother, Stanley Radford, of Glasgow; sister, Patricia Hayslett, of Laurel, Md; sisters-in-law, Nancy Lennebecker and Betty Ann Radford; and numerous nieces and nephews including John Lennebecker, Vicky and James Campbell, and Missy and Allen Newcomb. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with a Funeral Service beginning at 8 p.m. Interment will be private.
