Two sisters, Drema Sue Lewis and Mary Lee Lewis and a brother, Paul Raymond Poff preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert E. “Bob” Neely; two daughters, Denyse Flint and husband, Rick of Oak Hill and Donna Hodge and husband, Ronald of Oak Hill; two brothers, Richard Poff and wife, Nancy and Donnie Poff and wife, Gloria; eight sisters, Juanita Markham and husband, Chet, Linda Johnson and companion, Bob Bragg, Elsie Ketchum and husband, Bill, Vicki Morris and husband, James, Ruth DeLozier and husband, Robert, Barbara Myers, Sherry Davis and husband, Jeff and Joetta Armstrong and companion, Richard Cline and one granddaughter, Heather Hewitt of Baltimore, Md. Committal service will be on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at 1 p.m. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Rev. Mike Kees officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Family members will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV 25801. He was an employee of RADVA Corp. Survivors include his wife, Debra Owens Sowers of Dublin; a daughter, Michelle Renee Sowers of Dublin; a son, Michael Christopher Sowers of Dublin; father, Harvey Dutch Sowers of Virginia Beach; mother, Betty Poff Vaden of Radford; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma Poff of Radford; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Sowers of Jacksonville, Fla; one sister, Susan Matherly of Radford; one niece, Ashley Matherly; and a nephew, Michael Brian Matherly. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 7, 1995, at 11 a.m. at the Snowville Baptist Church with the Rev. Neil Wood and the Rev. Jim Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the Page Cemetery in Snowville. The family will receive friend from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Seaver-Sanders and Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. on September 6, 1995.¹

     Atheline Elva Radford was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.³ Her married name was Evans.³ She married Ellsworth Evans.³ Atheline Elva Radford was born on January 22, 1920 at West Virginia.^1,6 She died on January 27, 2006 at Virginia at age 86.⁶ She Atheline Radford Evans, 86, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord and to join her husband Ellsworth Evans and other family members, including her sister Margie Robertson, for a joyous reunion in the sky. She was a life time member of the New Life Temple where she taught Sunday School for 60 years of continuous service. She was retired from Tultex. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Karleen and Jim Page of Christiansburg; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda Evans of Thaxton; son Rick Evans of Roanoke; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers Frank Radford and wife Liz, Don Radford and wife June, all of Roanoke; sisters Shirley Butler and husband Henry of Richmond, Velma Campbell and husband John of Las Vegas, Nev; also a number of nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on January 29, 2006.³

     Margie Ethel Radford was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.² She was born on February 20, 1924 at Kimball, McDowell Co., West Virginia.^2,3 As of March 30, 1946,her married name was Robertson.³ She married William Cleo Robertson Jr. on March 30, 1946 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,3 Margie Ethel Radford died on April 5, 2005 at Englewood, Sarasota Co., Florida, at age 81.² She Margie Ethel Robertson, 81, of Roanoke, Va., went home to be with the Lord from her daughter's home in Englewood, Florida, on Tuesday, April 5, 2005. She was born on February 20, 1924 in McDowell County, W.Va., to the late Byron and Ethel Yates Radford. Mrs. Robertson was a life member of the New Life Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church and a member of A.G.L.O.W. A loving mother and homemaker for her family, surviving are her daughter, Kimberly J. Reedy; four sons, Daniel L. Robertson, Donald W. Robertson, William C. Robertson, III and Byron A. Robertson all of Englewood, Fla; three sisters, Atheline Evans of Roanoke, Shirley Butler of Richmond and Velma Campbell of Ft. Myers, Fla; two brothers, Frank Radford and Donald Radford both of Roanoke; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. Walter Wood and Pastor Jason Forehand will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Oakey's North Chapel, 362-1237. on April 8, 2005.²
