     Annie Elizabeth Trussler Annie Elizabeth Trussler Amos, of Salem, VA, passed away at home Saturday, February 12, 2022 after battling multiple health issues for years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Amos, Sr; her parents, Homer and Ollie Trussler of Vinton; brothers, Jimmy Trussler and Lee Trussler and sister, Helen Carr. Surviving to cherish her memory are children, Pat Carter (Danny) of Salem, VA, William Amos, Jr. (Rhonda) of Vinton, VA, Barbara and Betty Amos of Salem, VA, Vicky Reed (Don) of Salem, VA, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Edna Foutz, Mary Thornhill, Linda (Paul) Carr and Rosie Trussler; sister-in-law, Myrna Trussler and numerous nieces and nephews. Annie enjoyed hard work, loving and supporting her family, putting others first and making lasting memories for anyone she met. Making others happy, especially children, gave her the most joy and was always reflected in her wonderful smile. Never seeking the attention, she would often quietly disappear after successful accomplishments to begin her next goal of helping someone else. She was very proud of her work with special needs children at Masons Cove Elementary and her work of founding the Masons Cove Civic Club, which was instrumental in getting the Masons Cove Fire and Rescue building constructed and eventually having emergency services in the community. Mom loved sharing her faith in God, her birds and the many trips to the beach with her family. Annie’s life will be celebrated Friday, February 18, 2022 with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton, VA with Pastor Dan Carawan officiating. The family will receive guests an hour prior to the service with interment immediately following at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.      William Berkley Amos Sr. was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.³ He was born on March 30, 1932 at Bedford Co., Virginia.² He married Annie Elizabeth Trussler, daughter of Homer Lee Trussler and Ollie Hattie Myers, on September 23, 1955 at Thaxton, Bedford Co., Virginia.^4,5,6,1,7 William Berkley Amos Sr. died on November 13, 2017 at Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 85.³ He William Berkley Amos, Sr., 85, of Salem, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017. Surviving family includes his wife of 62 years, Annie Amos; children, Patricia (Danny), William, Jr. (Rhonda), Barbara, Betty, and Vicky Amos; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.      Donald Keith "Don" Foutz Sr. was born on June 16, 1931 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^5,6 He married Edna May/Mae Trussler, daughter of Homer Lee Trussler and Ollie Hattie Myers, on January 8, 1955 at Henrico Co., Virginia.⁶ Donald Keith "Don" Foutz Sr. died on June 19, 2020 at Virginia at age 89.⁴ He Donald Keith Foutz Sr., 89, of Roanoke, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020. He was the proud owner of Brambleton Auto Service for 55 years, where he worked with his son, Keith, and a very special friend, Barry Black. Surviving family includes his wife of 65 years, Edna Foutz; children, Keith (Celes), Tim, Julie, and Cindy (Jon); six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date due to Covid 19. on June 24, 2020.⁴

Haldren and Steve; son, Christopher W. Carr and wife, Beverly Carr; sister, Linda Carr and husband, Paul; sister, Edna Foutz and husband, Don; sister, Annie Amos and husband, Berkley; sister, Mary Thornhill and husband, Fred; and sister, Rosie Trussler; grandchildren, Autumn Falls and husband, Daniel, Blake Haldren, Danielle Haldren, Lynette and Brett Sanborn, Kayla and Fredy Wright, and Amber Stump; great-grandchildren, Brantley Wayne Falls, Liam Sanborn, Ilona Sanborn, and Kaydy Wright; and many more loving family members and friends. She was born on August 27, 1949 in Roanoke, Va. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother "gwama", great-grandmother "gra", sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. She was a member at Parkway House of Prayer. She had a great love for God, her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and dogs.      Dennis Wayne "Denny" Carr Dennis "Denny" Wayne Carr, 64, of Vinton, entered the Lord's Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, September 29, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth "Ebbie" Carr; and brother, Doug Carr. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Helen L. Carr; son, Christopher W. Carr and wife Beverly Carr; daughter, Angie C. Haldren and Steve; brother, Paul Carr and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Autumn Carr and fiancé Daniel Falls, Blake Haldren, Danielle Haldren, Lynette and Brett Sanborn, Kayla and Fredy Wright, and Amber Stump; great-grandchildren, Liam Sanborn and Kaydy Wright; and many more loving family members and friends. He was born on August 19, 1948 in Roanoke, VA. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, son, and friend. His faith was important to him, and apparent to everyone around him. He was a member at Parkway House of Prayer. He had a great love for God, his wife, children, and dogs.      Donald Keith Foutz Jr. was born on February 15, 1956 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^2,3,4,5 He married Karla Leigh Smith on August 6, 1977 at Vinton, Roanoke Co., Virginia.³ Donald Keith Foutz Jr. and Karla Leigh Smith were divorced on October 19, 1983 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁴ Donald Keith Foutz Jr. married Celester "Celes" Trout on June 7, 1985 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^3,5 Donald Keith Foutz Jr. died on January 2, 2022 at Virginia at age 65.⁵ He Donald Keith Foutz Jr., February 15, 1956 - January 2, 2022. Donald Keith Foutz Jr., 65, of Rocky Mount, Va., passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Keith graduated from William Byrd High School in 1974. He dedicated 50 years of his life to the family owned business, Brambleton Auto Service, working alongside with special friend Barry Black and new owner Robert Marra. He was preceded in death by his loving father, Donald Foutz Sr; and Joyce Trout his loving mother-in-law. Keith is survived by his wife of 37 years, Celes Foutz, who says that Keith was the love of her life; his loving mother, Edna Foutz; loving son, Jared Foutz; his loving stepson, Jason Layman; brother, Tim Foutz; sisters, Julie Foutz and Cindy Perdue; Lester Trout, his loving father-in-law; and many nieces and nephews who adored him and he adored them. His second true love was the University of Tennessee Volunteers, Go Vols! A memorial service for Keith will be held at a later date. on January 9, 2022.⁵
