Shirley Kenneth Sorrell FAYETTEVILLE – Shirley Kenneth Sorrell, 76, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, September 01, 2014 at Fayette Nursing and Rehab, Fayetteville. Born on December 29, 1937 at Ramsey, WV, he was the son of the late Roy Obbey and Hettie Sorrell Cole. Mr. Sorrell attended Winona Baptist Church. He was a metal sorter for Vulcan Metal in Sandusky Ohio, heavy equipment operator, and a Union Stewart. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert and Delbert; and sisters, Claduis and Dolly. Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Judith A. Sorrell; children: Paul Bellew, Herbie Bellew, Kenny Sorrell, Lloyd Bellew, John Wayne Sorrell, Ruth Ann Bellew, Jesse Sorrell, Angela Stapleton, Rose Corley, and Jimmy Sorrell; five sisters: Waveline Kowalsky, Bertha Carte, Nellie Caldwell, Beulah Chapman, and Velvie McClung; three brothers: Elbert Sorrell, Bill Sorrell, and Gary Sorrell; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Friday, September 5, 2014 in the mausoleum at Restlawn Memory Gardens, Ansted, with Pastor Danny Goins officiating. Burial will follow. There will not be a visitation.3
