     Douglas Eugene Via Douglas E. Via, age 50, of Germantown, OH passed away suddenly on Monday, November 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 8, 1969 in Kettering to Joyce (Brown) Via and the late David L. Via, Sr. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his mother Joyce Via of Germantown; daughters Adrianna (Kenneth) McWilliams III and Breanna Via both of Gratis; granddaughter Octavia McWilliams; brothers David L. (Cindy) Via Jr. of Monroe and Jeffrey (Theresa) Via of Gratis; niece Kylie Via; nephews Cameron and Collton Via; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.2 He was born on October 8, 1969 at Kettering, Montgomery Co., Ohio.2,3 He married Amy Louise Dull on August 31, 1991 at Preble Co., Ohio.3 Douglas Eugene Via died on November 18, 2019 at Germantown, Montgomery Co., Ohio, at age 50.2

She is survived by her parents, Dan and Lillian Allen, Salem; a brother, Norman Allen, Pensacola, Fla; sisters, Beverly Brooks, Floyd, Georgia Allen, Williamsburg, and Danetta Allen, Salem. this precious wife, mother, and grandmother is survived by her husband, William Archie Hale Jr., Blacksburg; children, Pam and David Yerden, Kennesaw, Ga., Allen and Cindy Hale, Salem, Kim Roberts, Roanoke, and Jason and Leslie, Blacksburg; nine grandchildren, Travis Hale, Ross Yerden, Tyler Hale, Laura Yerden, Kayla Yerden, Drew Roberts, Jack Hale, Gretchen Roberts, and Will Hale. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Betty Whitlock; fourteen nieces and nephews; and special friend, Donna Scott. Pat's family would like to thank Dr. Harry McCoy and his staff, Montgomery Regional Hospital, and the second floor nursing staff for all the wonderful care given during her illness. Pat was currently employed at VPI and SU and a member of Slusser's Chapel Church of God of Blacksburg. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. on February 7, 2001.5
