As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses she was part of a Bible Education work through the West Hagerstown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was baptized in 1972. She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School. In addition to her husband and father, she is also survived by three daughters, Amanda Gross and husband, David, Jr. of Clear Spring, Md., Emily Hoffman and her husband, Andrew, of Chewsville, Md., and Abigail Paulson of Hagerstown; a sister, Kimberly Colbert and her husband Richard of Leesburg, Va; a brother, Ira Conner, Jr. and his wife, Nancy of Martinsburg, W.Va; and three grandchildren, Courtney Gross, Zachary and Zoey Paulson. She is also survived by three nieces, Meghan and Michaila Colbert and Jessica Talbot and a nephew, Joey Lee Conner. on April 13, 2016.3
