In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Norma Jean Desper. On October 21, 1988 Dee was united in marriage to Jerry L. Hale, Sr. who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Dunbar United Methodist Church, Dunbar. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Hall; daughter, Barbara June Smith; and grandson, John Scott Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Dowdy of Union; sons, James (Shigeko) Hall of York, Pa., and Richard (Nancy) Hall of York, S.C; brother, Carroll (Barbara) Hunt of Broken Arrow, Okla; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
