She was born Elizabeth Almira Facemyer on Aug. 21, 1922, in Oak Ridge to Albert and Nancy Kemp Facemyer. She was a graduate of Redbank Valley High School. She was married to Kenneth Hulings, who preceded her in death in 1961. She then married Arthur McKevitt in 1971, and he preceded her in death in 1991. She worked at Crook's Shoes, Wein's Shoes, Gallagher Drugs, the central tax claim office, and retired as a secretary for the Clarion Borough police. She is survived by two sons, Dennis Hulings and wife Lue'ne of Indiana, and Richard Hulings and his wife Karen of Clarion. Her grandchildren are Michelle (Marcus) Bingham, Kreg (Jocelyn) Hulings, Heather (Shawn) Shirley, Stefanie (Kenneth) Proch, Darcie Hulings-Snead and Brett Hulings. There are also 12 great-grandchildren, Ryker and Tyler Bingham, Henry Hulings, Isaac, Elise and Hannah Proch, Lauren, Emma, and Lydia Shirley, Bradley, Ben and Isabella Hulings-Snead. Surviving siblings include a sister, Marjorie of Oak Ridge and a brother, John Facemyer and his wife, Barb, of Canfield, Ohio. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Facemyer and a sister, Mary Lou Culbertson, as well as two infant daughters, Carol and Kathy. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion and from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Clarion, with the Rev. Dr. Deryl K. Larsen, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Clarion Cemetery. on November 12, 2012.2

Y; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Maude Cubbison of Oil City and Mrs. Theara Meddock of Oil City; one brother Everett Hulings of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews. A son Wayne H. Hulings was killed in action in World War II. Friends may call at the Raymond W. Arnold Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Today. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Calvin Peters, pastor of Titusville Christian Missionary and Alliance Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery in Oil City. on June 27, 1967.1

Mr. Hulings worked for many years as a rose grower for the Oakwood Rose Gardens. He retired in 1953. He later worked for the Brundred Oil Company, and in the construction business with Boyd Rhodes. He attended the Calvary United Methodist Church. He was married to the former Helen West, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Marie Moorhead Hess of Erie and several nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Earl, John and David Hulings and four sisters Maude Cubbison, Thera Muddock, Goldie Hess and Zennie Bickel, are deceased. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Lawrence Lyman of Calvary United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. on February 6, 1979.4

Lee Meddock of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Ivan (Elsie) Whitehill of Leeper; a brother, Everett Hulings of Oil City; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Maude) Cubbison of Oil City RD2 and Mrs. Marie Hess of Erie; and 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Removal was made to the Charles Morrison Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p. m. today and where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p. m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Paul Smith, pastor of the Calvary United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Scotch Hill Cemetery at Scotch Hill. on July 12, 1972.2

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Harlo Moorehead, Ira Hoffman and Walter Hess; a daughter, Mrs. Forest (Betty) Walter; and a son, Ken Moorehead. on March 14, 1988.3

Lee Meddock, 84, of 204 Bend St., Oil City, died at 4:25 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 1995, in the Oncology Unit of Northwest Medical Center at Franklin. Born March 20, 1911, in Scotch Hill, Clarion County, he was a son of Elwood and Thera Hulings Meddock. Mr. Meddock attended the one-room Oakwood School and graduated in 1928 from Oil City High School. He he completed his accounting studies with the International Accounting Society. He went to work in 1928 in Oil City for South Penn Oil Co., now Pennzoil, and was transferred to Pittsburgh in 1963 and to Houston, Texas in 1969. He retired in 1973 after a 45 year career with Pennzoil. Mr. Meddock was a member of Petrolia Lodge No. 363, F & A.M. and Venango Lodge of Perfection. He served on the boards of the Boy Scouts, Adelphi Club, Salvation Army, and Community Fund, now United Way, and had been a member of the Wanango Country Club. He also was a member and former Deacon and trustee of the First Presbyterian Church of Oil City. Mr. Meddock was married Oct. 9, 1937, to the former Hazel Jackson, who died Sept. 23, 1984. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stewart (Barbara) Bloom of New York City; a son, Terry Meddock of Oil City; a granddaughter, Lisa Meddock, Philadelphia; and a grandson, Ryan Meddock of Oil City. Hs also survived by his sister, Elsie Whitehill of Meadville; a niece, Phyllis Weltner of Franklin; and two nephews, Gary and Dwayne Whitehill of Titusville. In addition to his parents, Mr. Meddock was preceded in death by a brother, Orah Meddock. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Morrison Funeral Home, Oil City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Jones, interim pastor of Second Presbyterian Church of Oil City, and the Rev. David Roddy, pastor of the New Virginia United Methodist Church in Hermitage officiating. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Oil City. on December 20, 1995.4
