     Marcia Lynn Cobbett Marcia Lynn (Cobbett) Cousins, 50, of Kittanning, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at home. She was born Sept. 5, 1963, in Kittanning, daughter of Don and Deanna Cobbett. Marcia was formerly employed as a caregiver for Lifesteps and was Baptist by faith. She was a stay at home wife and mother and loved taking care of her children and, especially, her grandchildren. She enjoyed puzzles, dogs (especially Taco), the outdoors, plants and long drives. Marcia is survived by her mother, Deanna Cobbett, of Kittanning; husband, her husband of 28 years, Nelson Cousins Sr; children, Sara Cousins, at home, Heather Cousins, of Kittanning, Nelson Cousins Jr., at home, and Nathan Cousins (significant other, Brandy McCourt), of Cadogan; grandchildren, Cody Myers, Hailey Baker and Bailey Cousins; brother, Don Cobbett, of Kittanning; a nephew, Chance Cobbett; nieces, Asley and Ivy Cobbett; several aunts; uncles; and cousins. Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Don Cobbett, who died Sept. 29, 1983; maternal grandparents, Viola and Alton Jack; and paternal grandparents, Bernice and Byron Cobbett. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Cowansville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Vincent Edwin officiating. She was a homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and also volunteered for the Salvation Army during the holidays. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willfred Paul Ion; son, Willfred George Ion; great-grandson, Aiden Moberg. She is survived by her children, Betty Hampton (James), Nancy Schairer (James), Edith Kiser, Donnie Ion, Michael Ion (Mildred), and Robert Ion (Vickie); 25 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and 3 great, great grandchildren. His memberships included the Greenville Eagles and the Greenville Moose, which included the Legion of the Moose. His hobbies included building model ships. Survivors include one son, Willfred George Ion Jr. of Apollo; three daughters, Melissa Irene Ion of Apollo, Kimberly Duttry of Hadley and Shelli McCombs of Greenville; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother of Jacksonville, Fla; two former wives, Karen Sue Blair of Apollo and Clarissa Ion of Greenville; three brothers, Michael Ion of Tennessee, Robert Ion of Florida and Donald Ion of Jacksonville, Fla; and three sisters, Betty Hampton of Orange Park, Fla., Edith Kiser of New York and Nancy Schrier of Norfolk, Va. He was preceded in death by his father. on February 28, 2004.⁴

     Edith C. Ion Edith C. (Ion) Kiser, 69, of Ford City, formerly of Brady's Bend, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born Feb. 12, 1949, in Kittanning to the late Wilferd and Hazel (Oliver) Ion. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a homemaker. Edith liked to play darts, crafts, and spending time with friends and family. Survivors include daughters Kim Wicklund of Wisconsin, Tina Erdley, of Pa., Hazel Kiser of Pa; sons Kenneth Ion of Pa; George Kiser of Fla; grandchildren, Heath, Nadua, Hailey, Martin, Alexis, Shayla; sisters Betty Hampton of Fla., Nancy (Jim) Schairer of Va; and brothers Don Ion of Pa., Mike Ion of Tennessee, and Bob (Vickie) Ion of Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George Kiser; and brother George Ion. Friends will be received Thursday, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Douglas E. Dorula officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Brady’s Bend.³ She was buried at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bradys Bend, Armstrong Co., Pennsylvania.^3,4 Her married name was Kiser.³ She married George Michael Kiser.³ Edith C.
