Vivian was secretary at Daniel School and then worked at Danville School District #118 from 1961 to 1966. In 1961, she went to work at Danville Area Community College where she was the secretary to the president, Board of Trustees secretary, and Director of Personnel Services. She was also a member of the Executive Club, the American Society of Personnel Administrators and the Danville Jaguar Booster Club. Vivian retired from DACC in March of 1987. In 1975, Vivian was crowned Secretary of the Year. She received an Honorary Associate Degree from DACC in 1972 and passed the Certified Professional Secretary six-part exam in 1981. She enjoyed quilting, golfing, snow skiing, bird watching, traveling with her husband, gardening, antiques, genealogy, and wood carving. Vivian is survived by her daughter, Connie West; grandchildren, Franci Rubin, Garicke (DeeDee) Rubin, Ryan Anderson, Jared (Marithe) Anderson, Shalane West, and Kelsey (Branden) West; great grandchildren, Heather, Kavan, Rian, Micah, Adrian, Riley, Cooper, Mateo, Mattingly, Sienna, and Mia and her brother, Earl Peyton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Curtis Peyton; her husband, Glen and her daughter, Janet Anderson. on November 19, 2019.3

Other survivors include her children, Steve (Kathy) Weller, Kathy (Fred) Henney and Mary Ellen (Donna) Weller; two stepsons, Mike (Karen) Turner and Jeff (Lisa) Turner; six grandchildren, Amelia (Nathan) Weller, Jessica and Abigail Weller, Matthew (Ashlee) Henney, and Margaret Henney; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Frieda Gray; one brother, Eugene (Sarah) Cole and daughter-in-law, Kristine Weller. Reva was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Weller and granddaughter, Elizabeth Henney. Reva was retired from North Vermillion School Corporation as a secretary first working at Newport Elementary and later at North Vermillion Elementary. She was a member of Waterman Baptist Church in Lodi, Indiana and also attended several churches in the area including Christian Union, Bismarck First Church of Christ, Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and Gessie United Methodist Church. Reva taught Sunday School and Bible School for many years. She was a 1949 graduate of Perrysville High School. Her memberships included Delta Kappa Gamma and Newport Country Club. She was an accomplished seamstress, painter and genealogist. Reva also enjoyed knitting, traveling (35 states and 12 countries) and scrapbooking. She was known for her cookies, noodles, knitting baby blankets and remembering birthdates and sending out cards. In her earlier days she worked at Inland Supply in Danville. Reva enjoyed her family and loved spending time with them. Burial: Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Ind. on June 23, 2017.2
