She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman E. Hall and Lena Gordon Hall or Princeton, WV.She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Douglas Wilhelm; children, Terri Reid, Doug Wilhelm and Becky Stillwell, all of Cornelius. She is also survived by her brother, Rick Hall; and nephew, Josh Hall of Lincolnton, NC. The five joys of her life were her grandchildren: Connor Reid (18), Ben Reid (16), Hannah Wilhelm (15), Jordan Reid (13) and Blane Stillwell (2). Joann loved spending time with her family and was most happy when she was at the ball field, talking, or playing with her grandchildren. She loved being Memaw and will be missed tremendously. A graveside will immediately follow in the Gilead ARP church Cemetery. on July 26, 2016.4
