He served with the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Debbie; along with three siblings, William Paul Cecil, Jean Lilly Hall and Evelynine Graham. Survivors include his wife. Norma Jean Hearld Everidge; seven children, Vickie Sutherland, Tammy Radford, and Eddie Everidge, all of Princeton, Drema Schiffer of Fostoria, Ohio, Melissa Taylor of Spartanburg, S.C., Jimmy Everidge serving with the U.S. Army, Afghanistan, Timmy Everidge of Maryland; five stepchildren. Born in Bland, Va., she was the daughter of the late Boyd J. and Bessie French. She was a housekeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 22, 1979. Survivors include her stepmother, Mrs. Grace French of Rocky Gap, Va; six sons, Wayne Hall, Charles Robinette, Allen Hall and Jeffrey Robinette, all of Princeton, Eugene Hall of Bluefield and Mason Hall of Bramwell; one stepson, Dewey Robinette of Princeton; two daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Norma) Haynes of Princeton and Mrs. James (Delores) Easter of Falls Church, Va; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Goldie Nowlin of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Dorothy Crowe of Middlesburg, Ohio, and Mildred Christian of Varney; four brothers, Willie French of Delphos, Ohio, John French of Novi, Mich., Bill French of Beckley and Bobby French of Louisville, Ky; and 15 grandchildren. Burial will follow at French Cemetery at Rocky Gap. She was a retired nurse having worked for Princeton Memorial Hospital and Bluefield Hospital. She was a member of the Princeton Church of God. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution and Princeton Camera Club where she served as President and Secretary. She was preceded in death by five brothers, David W. Gordon, Percy L. Gordon, Eugene W. Gordon, Will Gordon and Walter Gordon; four sisters, Bessie Fink, Lucy Fink, Georgia Fink and Eva Nichols; and an infant daughter, Barbara Lucille Hall. Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Thurman Eugene Hall of Princeton; one daughter, Hilda Joann Wilhelm and her husband Douglas of Cornelius, N.C; one son, Thurman Richard "Rick" Hall and his wife Virginia of Iron Station, N.C; four grandchildren, Joshua Dahlas Hall, Terri Wilhelm Reid, Douglas Richard Wilhelm and Rebecca Vanessa Wilhelm; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Hancock and her husband Ernie of Salem, Va. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery on Halls Ridge Road in Princeton.      Hilda Joann Hall was buried at Gilead ARP Church Cemetery, 15303 Beatties Ford Road, Huntersville, Mecklenburg Co., North Carolina.^6,4 She was born on December 9, 1938 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^2,6 As of July 12, 1964,her married name was Wilhelm.² She married Wilvie Douglas Wilhelm on July 12, 1964 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^1,2,3,4 Hilda Joann Hall died on July 24, 2016 at Mecklenburg Co., North Carolina, at age 77.^6,4 She Hilda Joan Hall Wilhelm, of Cornelius, NC died July 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman E. Hall and Lena Gordon Hall or Princeton, WV.She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Douglas Wilhelm; children, Terri Reid, Doug Wilhelm and Becky Stillwell, all of Cornelius. She is also survived by her brother, Rick Hall; and nephew, Josh Hall of Lincolnton, NC. The five joys of her life were her grandchildren: Connor Reid (18), Ben Reid (16), Hannah Wilhelm (15), Jordan Reid (13) and Blane Stillwell (2). Joann loved spending time with her family and was most happy when she was at the ball field, talking, or playing with her grandchildren. She loved being Memaw and will be missed tremendously.
