     Norma June Miller was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^1,2 She was born on November 16, 1932 at Wyoming Co., West Virginia.¹ As of September 15, 1951,her married name was Furrow.³ She married Rev. Ray Ernest Furrow, son of Rev. Jessie Louis Furrow and Stella Irene Wiggins, on September 15, 1951 at Gary, McDowell Co., West Virginia.^1,3,4 Norma June Miller died on January 20, 2011 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 78.^1,5 She Norma June Furrow, 78, of Lerona, W.Va., died Thursday evening, January 20, 2011, at the Richfield Retirement Facility, Salem, Va. Born November 16, 1932, in Wyoming County, she was the daughter of the late Arbra C. Miller and Ocie Green Miller. Norma was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. While her health permitted, she attended New Convenant Pentecostal Holiness Church on Highland Avenue in Princeton. Also she, along with her late husband, helped to establish several churches in our region. Norma was a gifted and talented musician. She enjoyed sewing and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend Ray E. Furrow; and a sister, Esther Miller. Survivors include two sons and their spouses, Randall E. and Meredith P. Furrow, Greg R. and Betty Furrow; grandchildren, Sarah Elisabeth Furrow, Jonathan R. Furrow, Amanda Kristin Furrow, David Jessie Furrow; her sister, Marilyn Bartley and husband, Franklin D., of Daleville, Va. A service of celebration will be held 1 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2011, from the New Convenant Pentecostal Holiness Church on Highland Avenue in Princeton with Pastors Paul Furrow and Ron Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services at the church.      Sandra Lee Slusher was born on March 11, 1947 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,4,5 As of November 18, 1990,her married name was Aldrich.³ She married Harold Eli Aldrich on November 18, 1990 at Hillsborough Co., Florida.^2,3 Sandra Lee Slusher died on September 2, 2004 at Florida at age 57.² She ALDRICH, Sandra Slusher, 57, gently re-entered the Consciousness of Peace surrounded by her devoted family and hospice workers on September 2, 2004, after living bravely with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) for 14 years. Born in Christiansburg, Va., on March 11, 1947, she was raised in the down-to-earth traditions of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which remained her spiritual home throughout her life. A graduate of Stetson University, she was a social worker, executive manager, organization consultant and unofficial spiritual advisor. Now rejoicing the precious gift she was and is to all of us are her husband, Harold; daughter, Virginia Bagley (husband, Drew); stepdaughter, Angela; stepson, Hal; mother, Myrtle; sisters, Paula Slusher and Judy Wansley (husband, Rob); brothers, Jim (wife, Connie) and Chris (wife, Annissa); grandchildren, Brett and Megan Aldrich; nephews, Evan and Wyatt; niece, Harper; brothers-in-law, Ron Aldrich (wife, Mary Lynne), Keith Robishaw (wife, Sue) and Todd Robishaw; and many loving friends. Sandy's family extends our deepest gratitude to neurologist Rafael M. Rodriguez, M.D., for his compassionate care of 15 years, and to the unsung heroes of hospice care who supported her desire to transition with grace and dignity. on September 5, 2004.²
