     Melvin Cleo Dunlap Melvin Cleo Dunlap, 70, of Pond Gap passed away, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at home after a long illness. He was a US Marine Veteran, and a member of the UMWA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Opal and Booker Wilbur Dunlap, and sister and brother-in-law, Rose (Elmer) Perry. Melvin is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wilma Delores Dunlap; son, Joseph (Teresa) Dunlap; daughter; Loretta (George) Ramsey; grandchildren, Dylan, Devin Dunlap, Jeremiah, Isiah Coleman; brothers, Wilber Dunlap, Junior Dunlap, Buford (Phyllis) Dunlap, Delmar (Sue) Dunlap; sisters, Christine Perry, Debbie Dunlap, Sandra Kay Dunlap, Kathy (Robert) Keiffer; and a host of other family members and friends. Services will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, December 12, at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel, 600 Old Fort St., Cedar Grove, with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, in Glasgow. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home, on Wednesday. Special thank you to Dr. Sissoko and his nursing staff, Dr. Haider, his nursing staff, the cancer center, and also thanks to Hospice nurses and staff.2 He was buried at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.2 He was born on June 15, 1948.2,3 He married Wilma Delore Unknown circa 1974.2 Melvin Cleo Dunlap died on December 8, 2018 at West Virginia at age 70.2
