He was the husband of Marion Chatham Scarisbrick, at home. Born on Sept. 26, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late Harold James and Josephine Sherman Scarisbrick and moved to Stroudsburg in 1985. A veteran of World War II, he served in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946. He was a superintendent for Con Edison until retiring in 1984 after 39 years of service. He was a member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church in Stroudsburg. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jean Pierre "JP" Scarisbrick and his wife, Colleen Anne of Massapequa, N.Y; two grandsons, Ryan Patrick Scarisbrick and Sean Patrick Scarisbrick both of Massapequa, N.Y; three brothers; a sister; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9, from at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Main Street in Stroudsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, at the church with the Rev. Carmen Perry as celebrant. Burial will follow in Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg. on October 6, 2006.3
