She also enjoyed bowling and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Debra (Tom) Glenn of Wilmington and Myra (Bob) Parrish of Braidwood; grandchildren, Daniel Glenn of Braidwood, Rachel Glenn and Jessica Parrish, both of Wilmington and Darrell (Renee) Parrish of Channahon; great-grandchildren, Leah Glenn, Corinne Ewenson, Spencer Parrish, Brandon Glenn, Abigail Parrish, Charlie Faulkner and Blake Faulkner; sisters, Vaughna Ochs of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Drema Miner of Wilmington, Shirley (Tom) Schlosser and Helen (Greg) Reineke, both of Defiance, Ohio; brother, Junior Forren of Columbia, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded by her parents, Oscar Forren and Glenna Surgeon and husband, William Elbert "Ebb" Wickline (August 27, 2000). Visitation will be TODAY, Sunday, February 17th between the hours of 2:00PM and 8:00PM at Freitag-Reeves and Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Monday February 18th at 9:00AM in the funeral home. Pastor Ron Taylor from Island City Baptist Church in Wilmington will officiate. Age 72 years. Born August 18, 1928 in Fort Springs, W. VA to the late Henry Austin Wickline and Linnie (Arbaugh) Wickline. U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of AFL-CIO Machinist Union. Lifetime member of the South Side Civic Club of Joliet and American Legion. Retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company and he was an avid bowler. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Virginia "Ruth" (Forren) Wickline of Wilmington; two daughters, Debra (Thomas) Glenn of Wilmington and Myra (James "Bob") Parrish of Braidwood, IL; four grandchildren, Daniel Alan and Rachel Dianne Glenn, Jessica Ann and Darrell William Parrish; numerous family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Robert, Howard and Marcus; two sisters, Myrtle Smith and Katherine Rickman. Visitation will be at the Reeves Funeral Home, Wilmington, on Tuesday, August 29, 2000 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services to be held on Wednesday, August 30, at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Pack officiating. Interment Abraham Lincoln Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Memorials to the Joliet Area Hospice, with special thanks for their care and support appreciated. on August 30, 2000.2
