Ernest Wilton Conner and Addnia Jane "Addie" Foley, on May 6, 1923 at Boone Co., West Virginia.^1,2 Thomas Jefferson "Tom" Hill and Donna Mae "Donnie" Conner were divorced before April, 1940.⁶ Thomas Jefferson "Tom" Hill died on April 30, 1952 at Fort Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana, at age 48.³

Ernest Wilton Conner and Addnia Jane "Addie" Foley.¹ Bailey Fisher Belknap was born on August 15, 1899 at Gassaway, Braxton Co., West Virginia; His draft card, railroad record, and gravestone have a birth date of Aug 14, 1899.^2,3,7,8,5 He died on November 27, 1969 at Phoenix, Maricopa Co., Arizona, at age 70.^2,4 He Services for Bailey Belknap, 70, who died Thursday in Orangewood American Baptist Estates, will be at Monday. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Belknap, 1226 E. Orchid Lane, retired in 1965 after serving as an inspector 35 years for the Union Pacific in Ogden, Utah. He was a member of the Royal Palms Baptist Church, and an Elks Lodge in Ogden, the Old Timers Club 6 of the Union Pacific and Old Timers Club I of the Union Pacific. Born in Exchange, W.Va., he came to Phoenix in 1967 from Ogden. Survivors include his Donna; a sister, Mrs. Mary Bell of Phoenix; and three brotners out of state. on November 29, 1969.⁴

     Helen Georgina James was buried at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, Phoenix, Maricopa Co., Arizona.³ She was born on November 6, 1920 at MacDonald, Manitoba, Canada.^4,3 As of December 24, 1965,her married name was Conner.² She married Dr. Sharrel Kent Conner, son of Rev. Ernest Wilton Conner and Addnia Jane "Addie" Foley, on December 24, 1965 at Los Angeles Co., California.^2,3 Helen Georgina James died on February 10, 2009 at Phoenix, Maricopa Co., Arizona, at age 88.^4,3 She Conner, Helen G. - Helen was born in MacDonald, Manitoba, Canada on November 6, 1920. After graduating grade 12 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Helen went on to study at McKellar General Hospital were she earned her nursing degree and became an RN. Helen spent the last part of WWII as a Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. In 1951, Helen came to the United States and found work in Texas and California as an RN. She made her way to Phoenix in 1953 and made it her home. Helen became a U.S. citizen in February of 1959. She enjoyed many years as a member of the Daughters of the Nile. Helen retired from nursing in December of 1987. Along with her husband, Dr. S.K. Conner, Helen enjoyed many driving adventures to Alaska, Canada and across the United States. On February 10, 2009, Helen at long last reunited with her sisters, Ruth, Eunice and Connie, whom she missed dearly. Also welcoming Helen home are her parents, Everett and Charlotte, and four brothers, Harry, Wilfred, Leonard and Ray. Helen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Dr. S. Kent Conner, of Phoenix, AZ to whom she was married on December 24, 1964. She is also survived by her son, W. Kent (Jennifer) Conner, of Phoenix, AZ; stepson Devin (Gail) Randolph, of Rio Rico, AZ; niece Elaine (William & Kellie) Rice of Nashville, TN; one niece and 7 nephews in Canada; grandchildren- Abe, William, and Randy Randolph; great-grandchildren - Chace, Caden, and Carl Randolph. The family of Helen Conner gratefully thanks Hospice of the Valley Organization, Magda's Family Care House, for the outstanding and loving care provided to Helen throughout this time. Helen will be placed at final rest at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. on February 14, 2009.³

She was born in Madison, W.Va. Survivors include her husband, Ronald; daughters, Oneida Shram, Onetta Santone and Tammy Edge; parents, Elsie and Ernest Conner, one sister, one brother, and six grandchildren. Services: Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary.¹ Her married name was Riggs.¹ Her Social Security Number was 455-60-5850.² She married Ronald Riggs.¹ Betty Elwanda Conner was born on November 12, 1938 at Van, Boone Co., West Virginia.^2,6 As of November 1, 1954,her married name was Powell.⁵ She married Lawrence Harry Powell on November 1, 1954 at Boone Co., West Virginia.⁵ Betty Elwanda Conner died on January 2, 1992 at Phoenix, Maricopa Co., Arizona, at age 53.¹

     Marie Annette Martin was buried at East Hill Cemetery, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.² She was born on July 9, 1956 at Virginia.^3,4 As of October 9, 1975,her married name was Nichols.³ She married Steven Allen "Steve" Nichols on October 9, 1975 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.^1,2,3 Marie Annette Martin died on December 19, 2013 at Virginia at age 57.^2,4 She Marie (Annette) Nichols, 57, of Salem, passed away restfully in her sleep on Thursday December 19, 2013. She is predeceased by her father, Edward R. Martin. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Gladys Martin Spraker; husband, Steve A. Nichols; son, Steve A Nichols, (Dionne); daughter, Genie S. Nichols(Jesse); special son, Austin Martin; grandchildren, Tristan, Sydney and Clementine; sister, Christie Dishon; brothers, Barry, Clayton, Donnie, Tony, Richard, and Patrick Martin; 26 great nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family members and friends. There will be a funeral service at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2013, in the Valley Chapel, with interment to follow in East Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 22, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Assn. of Frontotemporal Degeneration. on December 22, 2013.²
