He was a 1952 graduate of Princeton High School and was a United States Marine Corp veteran. He was retired from the Princeton Moose Lodge with over twenty years service. Bill was a member of the Princeton Elks Lodge #1459 and Princeton Moose Lodge #1521. In addition to his parents, one granddaughter, Michelle Fagan preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Martina "Tina" Jacob Bowen of Princeton; four daughters, Brenda B. Tolley of Lynchburg, Va., Kathy D. Herald and husband Randy, Sherry L. Wilcox and husband Kraig, all of Ijamsville, Md., and Nicole M Rose and husband Jerry of Princeton; one son, William E. Bowen, III and wife Lisa of Lehigh Acres, Fla; six grandchildren, Randy Herald, Jr. and wife Tracy, Debbie H. Butcher and husband Ed, Cody A. Wilcox, William E. Bowen, IV and wife Mandy, Harley Rose and Santana Rose; seven great-grandchildren, Ryan Butcher, Kyle Butcher, Kailee Herald, Alyssa Bowen, Ally Butcher, Joey Bowen and Mady Butcher; two brothers, David A. Bowen and wife Julia and James A. Bowen and wife Anna, all of Princeton; four nephews; and one niece. In keeping with Bill's wishes, his body has been cremated. A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Bowen residence in Princeton. on July 21, 2101.⁴

     Leonard Allen "Lenny" Boyd Leonard Allen “Lenny” Boyd, 63, of Charleston, passed away at home with his family by his side on October 21, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Leonard and Lorraine Boyd; his loving wife of 40 years, Karen England Boyd; brother, Stephen A. Harold; and his best companions, Harley and Lucy. He leaves behind his loving son, Jason E. Boyd and Susan Hoffman; brother, Cecil K. Boyd; sister, Pat Nelson; last surviving uncle, Sailor Harold; riding buddy, Darrell Harold; a bunch of loving cousins, nieces and nephews; and his loving dog, Lolly Pop. Lenny was a graduate of DuPont High School class of 1969. He went to work at Kanawha Manufacturing Company where he retired after 40 years. He was a lover of the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Lenny loved living life to the fullest, his words of advice to everyone was “The main thing is….Don’t get excited.” Due to his wishes, he will be cremated.³ He was born on August 9, 1951 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^4,5 He married Karen L.
