Elsie is survived by her son, James (Nora) Murphey of Chino Valley; sister, Fay Webster of Cottonwood; grandchildren, Jackie (David) Brent of Chino Valley, Burt Murphey of Kirkland, Ariz., Wanda (Lonnie) Bennett of Los Luna, N.M., Audra (Tom) Bowers of Kingman and Beverly (David) Horn of Nacogdoches, Texas. Elsie had 13 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Floyd Murphey; son, Raymond Murphey; parents, Edward and Ivy (Brooks) Walker; sisters, Margie, Enid, Dorothy; and brothers, Ted and Robert. Elsie will always be remembered for her wonderful laugh and sense of humor. She always loved a good joke. The family would like to say thank you very much to The Gardens Care Center in Kingman for taking such loving care of our beloved mother/grandmother, Elsie, for the past six years. A very special thank you to the staff that loved Elsie the most. You know who you are! Funeral arrangements are by Desert Lawn Funeral Home. Viewing will be at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 on Saturday, Oct. 31. Burial will be at Desert Lawns Memorial Gardens, 9250 S. Rancho Lane, Mohave Valley. on October 30, 2009.3

Marjorie Louise Walker Marjorie L. Sipes, age 91, passed away on Jan. 18, 2005, at home in Hillside. Marjorie was born Aug. 8, 1913, in Prescott, on Montezuma Street, the daughter of Edward Mead Walker and Ivy Eloise Brooks. She was a member of the Hillside Church. Survivors include her children; daughters, Mohea (Tim) Whitaker of Nevada, Donna (John) Wagner of Williams, Ariz., Karen (Bill) Fuller of Green Valley, Ariz., Sharon (Johnny) Sukoksy of Miami, Ariz., Ivy Love of Hillside, Ariz; and daughter-in-law, Roberta Sipes of Bagdad, Ariz; sons, Mickey (Mary) Williams of Phoenix, Ariz., Rod (Sue) Sipes of Congress, Ariz., Mark (Pam) Sipes of Bagdad, Ariz; 41 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Murphy of Kingman, Ariz., and Fay Webster of Cottonwood, Ariz. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Garnett S. Sipes Sr. in 1993, and by six of her children, Robert Fozier, Taylor Leroy, Marilyn Ann, Margie Bell, Bud Williams, and Garnet Sipes Jr., and two sisters, Dorothy Walker, Enid A. Edwards, two brothers, Robert and Ted Walker. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Chino Valley. She was very active with the PTA at both Miller Valley and Mata Dexter elementary schools, when her boys attended. She held state PTA offices. She served as president of Mile High Square dancers, with whom she and her husband, Joe, danced for 25 years and were instrumental in keeping the Saturday night dances going. She was also known for calling dance or two. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Joseph in 1989. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home on the corner of Cortez and Carleton Street. Services will begin at 2 p/m/ following visitation, with Rev, Jerry Kinman, pastor of First Baptist Church in Parker presiding. She was a 4-H leader for 48 years. He grew up in and around the Prescott and Flagstaff area in 1954 when he went to Bagdad to work in the Copper mine, first the Old Bruce and then Bagdad Copper where he stay until his retirement in 1994 after 39 1/2 Years. After retiring Mickey, moved to his home in Phoenix and spends most of his time working on one project after the other. Then in 2009 he then moved to Peoria AZ. He loved to fish and hunt, always look forward to the next deer season. He took special pride in all his grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them A LOT, Everyone who had the privilege of knowing Mickey on a personal level, his good deeds, gruff personality, and kind heart left the most significant and long lasting impression. Over the years, he gave of his time, energy and support so generously and willingly in ways too many to mention. Mickey's passing surely leaves a deep void, and he will be sorely missed.
He leaves his wife, friend, and partner Mary Williams of Peoria. Children: Keith, Neal, Curtis, Jayson & Justin Williams, Roxanne Jaurequi, Reann Myers, Donna Gronback, 19 grandchildren and 7 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents Marjorie and Garnett Sipes and Woody & Mary Williams,and 7 siblings.2 He married Mary Ann Allmon.4 Albert Marvin "Mickey" Williams married Maxine Linda Madres.4 Albert Marvin "Mickey" Williams was born on October 15, 1939 at Prescott, Yavapai Co., Arizona.2 He died on June 1, 2010 at Peoria, Maricopa Co., Arizona, at age 70.2
