McGahey. She was a devoted mother and grandmother; truly a proverbs woman who always put the needs of her family before her personal desires. She loved to help and serve others and chose professions that reflected that; she was a hairdresser and home health care provider. Violette is survived by five children; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and present husband, E.A. McGahey of Powell, Oklahoma. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Eric Dennis will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Pontotoc Cemetery, Pontotoc, Oklahoma. Casket bearers: Mike Glenn, Randy Ingle, Christopher Skiles, Clayton Bridenstine, Alfred Martin Jr., Charles Albert Martin, Bill Martin, Albert (Bud) Martin, Bobby Martin and James Martin. Honorary bearers: Jackson Daube, Jonas McGahey, Chace Blakley, Jonathon Glenn, T.J. Gore, Cody Skiles, Cameron Skiles, Logan Skiles, Michael Martin, Brandon Martin, Josh Martin and Timothy Gore.
