She dearly loved people and always felt it was an honor and a privilege to help others. She was a member of Lewisville United Methodist Church and was involved in many areas of the church. She enjoyed being with her 'Grace Society' each Wednesday morning as long as her health permitted. She enjoyed riding her 1200 Kawasaki motorcycle and her ATV in Wyoming. She loved to fish and catch cut throat trout. She is survived by her husband, Albert; two sons, Thomas A. Boyd and wife, Tammy, of Enon, and James Lee Boyd and wife, Mandi, of Arden; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Lora Thrash, of Asheville; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lavon and Charles Atwell, of Charlotte. Also surviving are three grandchildren whom she dearly loved and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2001 at 2:30 p.m. at Lewisville United Methodist Church. on December 29, 2001.⁵
