He is survived by daughters Patty A. Keesee of Huntington, Mary Thompson of Lenore and Glenda Baisden of Indian Trails, N.C; brothers John Ferris Jr. and Samuel Ferris, both of Lenore; sisters Sylvia Davis of Williamson, W.Va., Barbara Marcum of Black Log, Ky., Patsy Justice of North Carolina, Mary Staten of Chattaroy, W.Va., and Joan Jones of Lenore; four grandchildren, Alexandria Ferris Baisden, Jamie Suzanne Keiser, Denny Joe Sheppard and Julie Nichole Sheppard; and great-grandchildren, Jameson Sheppard, Benjamin Sheppard, Lukas Keiser and Tiffany Sheppard. Pall bearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Weaver Mortuary of West Williamson is serving the family. on December 7, 2005.1

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, November 25, 2008, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Weaver Mortuary in West Williamson. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., at the mortuary. The Rev. G. W. Mounts will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV. Family members and friends will serve as pall-bearers. Weaver Mortuary of West Williamson is serving the Ferris family. on November 25, 2008.4
