He was an electrician and worked for San Carlos Irrigation Project before retirement. He enjoyed hunting and traveling throughout the country. He was devoted to his family, enjoyed being with them and always stayed in touch with them. He was Baptist and lived in Arizona since 1939. Survivors include a sister, Zylpha Ames of Buckeye, a niece and six nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean. on June 19, 2003.⁴
