     Reba Mazel Toney was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.3,4 She was born on April 11, 1923 at Franklin Co., Virginia.2,4 As of August 17, 1951,her married name was Scott.1 She married Hubert Alvah Scott, son of Van Cleveland Scott and Eliza Edna Smith, on August 17, 1951 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,3,5 Reba Mazel Toney died on June 15, 2014 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 91.3,4,6 She Reba Toney Scott, 91, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother grandmother, sister and friend to many. Mrs. Scott was a member of Garden City Baptist Church for 63 years, where she was also a longtime Sunday school teacher. She was also a member for many years of the Roanoke County Christian Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Annie Toney; five sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Hubert Scott; a son, John Eary of Ringold, Ga; a daughter, Charlotte Scott Gregory and husband, Walter, of Roanoke, Va; three granddaughters, Susan Eary McClure, and husband, Craig, of Chattanooga, Tenn., Julianne Gregory of Raleigh, N.C., Sarah Gregory of Roanoke, Va; three great- grandchildren, Tory, Jacob and Abby McClure of Chattanooga, Tenn; a sister, Dean Toney Shell, of Roanoke, Va; her loving sisters-in-law, Nora Saul, Evelyn Smith, Rachel Hall and husband, Lawrence; many nieces, nephews and special friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice, especially Kelly, Beth, Brenda, Marcie and Chaplain Marvin Barbree, and also Pastor Jay Fields and wife Nancy, and their many friends at Garden City Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on June 17, 2014.3

     Betty Sue Fayne married Paul Dalton Scott, son of Van Cleveland Scott and Eliza Edna Smith.1 Betty Sue Fayne was buried at Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg, Virginia.4 Her married name was Scott.1 She and Paul Dalton Scott were divorced.1 Betty Sue Fayne was born on June 2, 1935 at Grayson Co., Virginia.2 She died on November 20, 2007 at Botetourt Co., Virginia, at age 72.3,5,4 She Betty Sue Varndell, 72, of Troutville, Va., passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 surrounded by the love and support of her family. Betty is survived by her husband of seven years, Richard L. Varndell; children, Randy (Janet) Scott of Troutville, David (Jamie) Simmons of Reidsville, N.C., Wanda (Steve) Deel of Roanoke, Terri (Butch) Cooper of Turner, Maine and Charles (Paula) Varndell of West Virginia; nine grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Betty opened her heart and her home to many other children including those through DePaul's Family Services giving more than 26 years of love and dedication to numerous children. Interment at Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg, Va. on November 22, 2007.4
