     Rev. Allen Frank Smith Reverend Allen F. Smith, 99, passed away on September 18, 2019 at Winter Haven Hospital. He was born July 13, 1920 in Eggleston, VA to the late John and Maude (Bouldin) Smith. He was a veteran of the US Navy, where he was honorably discharged in 1945. He moved to Florida from Georgia in 1956. He began in the 1960’s and Pastored various churches over the years. He retired from full-time ministry in 1985, from Ridge Community Church of God in Dundee, FL. Reverend Smith had a passion for prison ministry and leading others to Christ. He enjoyed fishing, watching baseball, sharing his love for Jesus, and sharing the word of God with anyone willing to listen. He had a genuine love for God, family, and community, and was a true servant to anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Faye E. Smith; daughters, Calida Crawford, Janet Herndon, Donnette Nienaber.
