Harmon, Roanoke; three sisters, Sharon Harmon, Karen Harmon, Rene Harmon, Richmond. on February 15, 1972.5

William Carroll Simpson, son of Howard Leonard "John" Simpson and Ruby Edna Beckner, on December 3, 1960 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,3,5 Norma Jean Ingram died on April 26, 2015 at Kansas at age 78.4,3 She Norma Jean Simpson, 78, of Lansing passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was born February 28, 1937 to Nelson and Gladys (Radford) Ingram in Floyd, Virginia. Norma Jean married William C. Simpson December 3, 1960, who preceded her in death in 1992. Along with being an active military wife and mother, Norma Jean had 40 years of civil service with 34 years at Fort Leavenworth. Survivors include two sons, William C. Simpson Jr. (Diane), Kansas City, Missouri, Stephen Simpson, Wichita, Kansas, two grandchildren, Will Simpson, Josie Simpson and one sister, Linda Short, Roanoke, Virginia. Interment will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. on April 30, 2015.3
