She is survived by her husband, Raymond Hawkins; one son, Donald E. Deweese; one daughter, Mila May Deweese; her mother, Mrs. Addie Clark, of Newport News, Va; two sisters. He was retired from the United States Navy having served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, and a member of the Peek Creek Mission of Prayer. Funeral services will be held Monday October 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Akers officiating. She was a retired nurses aide, and attended the Peak Creek Mission of Prayer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Raymond Deweese, 3 sisters, and five brothers and a great-grandchild, Jordan Leann Meadows. Funeral services will be held Monday October 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. service time. on October 20, 2012.¹
