Toler on September 4, 1952 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia; Vinson was divorced and Rena was widowed.12 Vinson Callaway "Blackeye" Hall died on April 23, 1975 at Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 88.8 He Vinson Callaway Hall, 88, of 400 Hartley Ave., died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in a local hospital after a long illness. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the UMWA of Harewood, the Blue Jay Methodist Church, and was a retired coal miner and was last employed at Semet-Solvay at Harewood. He was born Dec. 14, 1886, in Summers County, a son of the late Asa and Shrilda Ball Hall. His wife, Lythema Willis Hall, preceded him in death in 1950 (probably should be 1915). Survivors include two sons, Orville L. of Beckley, Dorsey C. of Cincinnatti, Ohio; two brothers, Dallas Hall of Havre de Grace, Md., John R. Hall of Odessa, N.Y; three sisters, Virgie Wyrick of Pipestem, Nannie Webb of Daniels, Lelphia Bolen of Harve de Grace; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The body is at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home. on April 24, 1975.8

The Rev. T. D. Cochran will officiate. Burial will follow in the family plot at Pine Grove Cemtery. He was born in Summers county April 7, 1889, and passed most of his life in Raleigh county. He was employed as a machinist by the Cline Lumber company. In addition to his widow, Lola Hall, he is survived by four sons, Stanton Jr., of Waynesboro, O., Ernest of Daniels, and Thomas and Eugene, both at home. He is also survived by four daughters, Mrs. Joe Robertson, of Beckley, Mrs. Edward Lilly, of Baltimore, Md., and Freda and Glenna Hall, both at home. Five brothers, Roscoe, Oak Hill; Dallas, Havre De Grace, Md; John, Odessa, N.Y; Walter, Indiana; and Vincent, Carbondale; three sisters, Mrs. Naomi Webb, Washington, D.C; Mrs. Virgie Wyrick, Lerona, and Zelthia Bolen, Coal City; one half-sister, Mrs. Chap Martin, of Beaver. on May 2, 1948.7

Survivors include: His wife of 33 years, Mary Apostolon Wyrick of Pipestem; children Andrea Barr and husband Chris of Pipestem, Carrie Wyrick of Pipestem, William Jabe Wyrick of Pipestem; sister Shirley Bryant and husband Johnnie of Magnolia, Texas; mother-in-law, Margaret Apostolon of Hinton; brother in law Dr. Bill Apostolon and wife Andrea of Wheeling; sister-in-law Sarah Seidler and husband Dr. Dave of Charleston; uncle Joe Williams of Lerona; nieces and nephews, Johnnie and Michael Bryant of Texas, Leann Oglesbee of Texas, Grant Calhoun of Charleston, Nate Williams of Charleston, Ryan Foster of Wheeling, Adrienne Apostolon of Wheeling, Michael Apostolon III of Wheeling; and several friends. Funeral services will be held Monday Oct. 11, 2004 at 11 a.m.. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with the Rev. Wallace Smith and Rev. The gun discharged in the melee State Police said. The shot struck Broce in the chest. Broce, a carpenter, died a short time later. Survivors include his wife, Betty; two daughters, Debra Lynn at home and Juanita Rakes of Crab Orchard; two sons, brother, Edsel and a sister, Mrs. Clarice Ransom, both of Huntington, Del; and his parents, Clarence L. and Roxie Hall of Daniels. The body will remain at the Webb and Neal Funeral Home until one hour before the services. Pallbearers will be Jim Worley, John Davis, Ashton Burrass, Paul Smith, Davis Hunter, Curley Kunkel, Raymond Rakes and Watson Lilly. on July 13, 1959.7
