Dickerson Post No. 3110; and was a resident of Oak Hill for 15 years. He was born at Ballard, Oct. 29, 1911. Survivors include his wife, Irene Waddell Midkiff; father, William Midkiff, Kessler; step-mother of Kessler, one brother, James, Kessler; one sister, Mrs. Leona Walker, Christianburg, Va; one daughter, Joleta Ann Midkiff, Oak Hill. Funeral rites will be conducted at The Calvary Baptist Church, East Oak Hill, at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. C. S. Donnelly and the Rev. Robert Matheny, both of Oak Hill officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park. Military rites will be conducted by the V.F.W. Post and the body will be removed from the Tyree Funeral Horne to the residence at 4 p.m. Monday and to the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Winnie Farley, Carl Hobbs, Wallace Evans, Bill Murdock, T. C. Shuck, and Dr. Donald Newell. Ladies of the Calvary Baptist Church will serve as flower bearers. on September 13, 1954.8

Mr. "Pogo" was an avid supporter of the Oak Hill Red Devils and enjoyed watching many sporting events. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his six sisters, Anta Hydella, Virginia Casey, Pauline Janisewski, Rose Wojtowicz, Josephine Fiorelli and Elizabeth Burden. Waddell, 71, of Yorktown, Va., passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013. Graveside committal services will military honors will be at 1 p.m. Monday, December 2, at the Settle Cemetery, Dempsey Branch, Robson, with the Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow. on December 1, 2013.5

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood. Keith was born February 10, 1947, in Beckley, W.Va., to Evelyn Lucille Wills Waddell and Terry Neely Waddell. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years as an aircraft mechanic. Following his retirement he worked at “The T” for 11 years. Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Theresa Waddell; daughters, Amy Waddell, Kayci Waddell and fiance, Robert Antonio Paniagua, and Joanna Waddell Rogers and husband, Mark; and many loving family and friends. on April 12, 2015.2
