In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths." She is survived by her loving daughter, Kathy Slusser Drummond and husband, John, of Christiansburg, Va; her granddaughter, Stacey Ely (who loved and admired her Memmie so much) and husband, Brian, of Abingdon, Va; grandson, Ross Drummond and wife, Elsha, and their children, William, Lucy and Jack, of Salt Lake City, Utah; and grandson, William Drummond and fiancée, Alicain Carlson, of Apex, N.C. She is also survived by her loyal companion, her dog, Baxter. He stayed faithfully by her side for six years, providing her joy and unconditional love. Wheeler, 56, of Springfield, Ohio, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008, in his residence following a brief, courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on December 16, 1951, the son of Henry E. and Irene (Wells) Wheeler. Jerry was a graduate of Virginia Tech and a member of their Alumni Association. He was a True Hokie! Jerry was employed by Cooper Cameron for 25 years and Honda of America for the past seven years. Jerry enjoyed traveling, biking, camping and a glass of wine in his hot tub. Jerry leaves to cherish his memory special friend of 15 years, David L. Boldman, of Springfield, Ohio; daughter, Stacey (Israel) O'Quinn, of Virginia; mother, Irene Wheeler Hunt, of Salem, Virginia; brother, Neil W.
