Sharon is also survived by two longtime friends, Lorene Lytton and Sylvia Epperly; a brother-in-law and his wife, Robert and Peggy Brammer of Woolwine, Va; and a sister-in-law, Annie Griffith of Roanoke. Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2002, at the Horne Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2002, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. A graveside service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Woolwine United Methodist Church Cemetery, Woolwine, Va. Larry was a hard working, loving and caring man. He served in the Army and spent time in Germany. He built a log cabin from scratch and whistled while he worked. He was a great gardener, a great husband, and a great father. A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m.on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Unitarian Universalist Church, 1301 Gladewood Dr., Blacksburg. on July 29, 2016.⁵
