Fla; five grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with the Rev. John King officiating. Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road in Princeton. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. on February 1, 1995.5

He retired as assistant city editor from the "Paterson News" and suburban editor of the "Morning News," Paterson, in 1976, after working there for 12 years. Prior to that, he was a substitute editor for the "Chicago Sun Times" while working as the editor of "Philosophy and Religion" departments at the Chicago Publishing Co. He is survived by his wife, Kay, a son, Fred, Long Island, N.Y; a daughter, Barbara Kaye French; a sister, Alice Marsico; and four grandchildren. on January 18, 1985.3

The funeral will be conducted Saturday at. 4 p.m. by the Rev. Earl G. Hissom and the Rev. Leon McElhaney in Bartlelt-Burdette Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. on October 20, 1967.3

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Belcher and one daughter, Rebecca Belcher. Survivors in addition to her husband include seven sons, Calvin W. Belcher, Jr., Freddy Belcher, Buddy Belcher, Jerry Belcher, Johnny Belcher, Frankie Belcher, Rickie Belcher, all of Princeton; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Shrader of Airport Road, Bluefield, Mrs. Peggy Burdette and Mrs. Helen Surface, both of Princeton; two sisters, Mrs. Violet DePaul of Manteca, Calif, and Mrs. Crystal Hale of Narrows, Va; one brother, Albert Chatting of Princeton; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Burns Wornal Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory, on the Athens Road, Princeton, with Rev. Charles Addington and Rev. Tony Reed officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, Princeton. on August 31, 1981.6

Chatting, 75, of the Maples Retirement Home, Bluefield, formerly of Princeton, died Friday in a Bluefield hospital. Born in Willowton, he was the son of the late George W. and Maggie Mae Hobbs Chatting. He was a retired construction worker, having been a brick mason assistant for many years. He was for many years an active fiddler in the Gospel and Bluegrass circles. He was a lifelong resident of Mercer County. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Crystal Hale, Violet DePaul, and Leora Belcher and five brothers, Ray Chatting, Benton Chatting, Earl Chatting, Truman Chatting, and Horace chatting. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery on the New Hope Road in Princeton. on February 14, 1993.3
