     Frank George Brotherton was buried at Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.3,4,5 He was born on July 15, 1877 at Birmingham, England.3,4,5 He married Clista Ella "Clisty" Martin, daughter of James Asa Martin and Sarah Ellen Keith, on July 12, 1943 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1,3,2 Frank George Brotherton died on November 16, 1947 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 70.3,4,5 He The funeral of George Frank Brotherton, 70, 916 Bramwell road, will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at Grace Methodist church, with the Rev. Winton Houck, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Monte Vista Cemetery. Mr. Brotherton died Sunday night at Bluefield Sanitarium, having been admitted to the hospital on Nov. 10. Mr. Brotherton was retired in 1941 after service with the N. & W. Railway Company as a machinist for 27 years. He had been in ill health for some time. He was born in England July 15, 1877, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Brotherton, and the following children: Clifford Alexander, of Roanoke, Va., Mrs. Jack Howard of New England, Ohio, and step-children Mrs. J.E. Carter of Radford, Va., Mrs. Lloyd Davis and Mrs. C.C. Gibson, Bluefield. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister, Ray and Clarence Brotherton, and Mrs. Ethel Lewis, of Wilkes Barre, Pa. on November 18, 1947.5
