Survivors include his wife, Kathy Poff York; one son, Christopher J. York of Goodview; one daughter, Amanda S. Mundy and husband, Jimmy of Roanoke; grandchildren, Lazerous and Malaki York; his mother, Sylvia June Bright; a brother, Donald F. York of Roanoke; one sister, Debby Bright-Brown and husband, Patrick of Kissimmee, Fla. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, stepsisters, and stepbrothers. Tabor of Rocky Mount; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berkley Garfield Conner; mother, Virgie Mae "Sweet" Webb; father, Norman H. Webb; brothers, Norman L. Webb and Robert E. Webb; sister, Delores "Tootsie" K. Wilson; daughter, Brenda Lee Broughman; and great-grandbabies, Pooh and Tigger Overstreet, twin girls.
