Born January 25, 1912, in Riner, he was the son of the late William George Richardson and Olya Akers Richardson. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Pulaski and a member of Pythagoris Masonic Lodge #239. He was retired after many years at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant and was also a past member and past president of the Pulaski Civitan Club. Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by five brothers, Frank, Ralph, John, Harold, and Robert Richardson and two sisters, Kathryn Sturgill and Margaret Hinchee. He is survived by his wife, Helen Elmore Richardson; one daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Gary Lockard of Dublin; one son and daughter-in-law, Philip R. and Brenda Richardson of Massillon, Ohio; one brother, W.G. Richardson of Salem; two grandchildren, Marsha Wright and Kimberly Richardson; and two great-grandchildren, Megan and Lauren Wright. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 1999, at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, with Masonic graveside services. on January 1, 1999.⁶
