     Sylvia June Guilliams was buried at Benjamin Wade Cooper Family Cemetery, Rt. 806, 0.4 miles from Rt. 640, Six Mile Post Road, Callaway, Franklin Co., Virginia.⁶ She Sylvia June Guilliams Cooper, 88, of Roanoke, VA passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020. She was born June 23, 1932 the daughter of the late Roy L. and Altha F. Guilliams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd H. Cooper; brothers, Bernard L. “Pete” Guilliams, Danny Guilliams, Coy Guilliams. She graduated from Callaway High School in 1949. She was a member of Rockingham Court United Methodist Church in Roanoke for over 50 years. She retired from Elizabeth Arden Company after many years of service. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Martin, Sheri Minnix (Keith); grandchildren, Amy Frye (Matt), Andrew Minnix (Sara-fiancé); great grandchildren, Anna and Harlan Frye; sisters, Arlene Carter, Vera LaPrade, Dot Webb (James); brothers, Newton Guilliams (Nora Jean), Fred Guilliams, Steve Guilliams (Linda), Barry Guilliams, Ronnie Guilliams (Joyce); sisters-in-law, Betty F. Guilliams, Caroline F. Guilliams; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Burial Cooper Family Cemetery, Factory Hill Road, Callaway, VA.⁶ She was born on June 23, 1932 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^4,5,6 As of December 20, 1952,her married name was Cooper.⁴ She married Lloyd Harvey Cooper, son of William Jackson Cooper and Pearlie Maude Martin, on December 20, 1952 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^9,4,10,6 Sylvia June Guilliams died on November 4, 2020 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 88.⁶

     Ezra Newton Guilliams was buried at Guilliams/Hale Cemetery, Tharp Creek Road, Ferrum, Franklin Co., Virginia.⁴ He was born on January 10, 1934 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^8,3,4 He married Norma Jean Guilliams on June 19, 1954 at Franklin Co., Virginia.⁸ Ezra Newton Guilliams died on September 8, 2023 at Virginia at age 89.⁴ He "I've lived a long and good life" are the words that many people heard from Ezra Newton Guilliams, age 89, who took his final "road trip" to join his Lord and loved ones in his heavenly home on September 8, 2023. Newton was born January 10, 1934 to the late Roy and Altha Guilliams. He was preceded in death by his sweet four-month old son, Michael Glen Guilliams (9/10/56 – 1/9/57). His loving wife, Norma Guilliams, has taken care of him, loved him, and spoiled him for 69 years. He will continue watching over her, his children Jeff Guilliams (Donna) and Jennifer Brubaker (Keith) and his "pride and joy" grandchildren Harrison Brubaker (Casey Johnson) and Meredith Kantsios (Logan) as well as his great grandson (who should be here in January). He even loved and enjoyed his active grandpups. He had an unbelievable relationship with every one of his brothers and sisters, his in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Pete Guilliams (Betsy), Sylvia Cooper (Lloyd), Coy Guilliams, Dan Guilliams and in-laws Don Carter/John Laprade, and Barbara Guilliams. Surviving are siblings Vera Laprade, Arlene Carter, Dot Webb (James), Steve Guilliams (Linda), Fred Guilliams, Barry Guilliams, and Ronnie Guilliams (Joyce) and sister-in-law Caroline Guilliams. He also treasured long-time friendships with Darla Lee, Ray and Nancy Holland, and Betty (Jimmy) Guilliams among many others, and he loved listening to music by Alan Messenger and friends. He was a member of Highland United Methodist Church (baptized April 8, 2018), one of the charter members of Callaway Volunteer Fire Department (established May 1966), a plumber who offered services to friends and family near and far, an employee of Hajoka for 21 years followed by Norfolk and Southern for 20 years, and a valued friend to everyone he met. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Highland United Methodist Church or Callaway Volunteer Fire Department. A special thanks goes to Carilion Hospice and everyone who has supported Newton through his years of sickness. The burial will follow in the Guilliams/Hale Cemetery on Tharp Creek Road in Ferrum. on September 12, 2023.⁴

     Coy Lee Guilliams was born on November 2, 1940 at Franklin Co., Virginia.⁴ He married Caroline Wilson Fisher on January 6, 1962 at Martinsville, Virginia.⁵ Coy Lee Guilliams died on February 23, 2020 at Virginia at age 79.³ He Coy Lee Guilliams, 79, of Callaway, died on Sunday, February 23, 2020, from complications related to lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy L. and Altha F. Guilliams; and brothers, Bernard L."Pete" and Danny Guilliams. He is survived by his wife, Caroline F. Guilliams; daughter, Kelly Guilliams Moran (Lynnie); sons, Gordon Guilliams (Carrie) and Alan Guilliams (Mandy); grandchildren, Carrie, Cassidy and Davis Moran and Connor and Brandon Guilliams. Also surviving are sisters, Sylvia Cooper, Vera LaPrade, Arlene Carter and Dot Webb (James); and brothers, Newton Guilliams (Norma Jean), Steve Guilliams (Linda), Fred Guilliams, Barry Guilliams and Ronnie Guilliams (Joyce); sister-in-law, Betty F. Guilliams; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Coy served in the United States Navy, retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad, worked part-time at Source4, was a charter member of the Callaway Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the American Legion and a member of Highland United Methodist Church. on February 24, 2020.³

     Linda Fay Ramsey Linda Ramsey Guilliams, August 23, 1946 - March 11, 2024. Linda Ramsey Guilliams, age 77 of Callaway, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mable Ramsey; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Altha Guilliams; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pete and Betsy Guilliams, Sylvia and Lloyd Cooper, Newton Guilliams, Coy Guilliams, Danny Guilliams, Barbara Guilliams, John Laprade, Don Carter and Noel Carter. She is survived by her husband, Richard Steve Guilliams; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Joyce Guilliams, Barry Guilliams, Fred Guilliams, Dot and James Webb, Caroline Guilliams, Arlene Carter, Vera Laprade, Norma Jean Guilliams and a special nephew-in-law, Alan Messenger, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Her wishes were to be cremated with no service.      Barbara Gail Wray was born on February 11, 1950 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^3,2 As of November 7, 1969,her married name was Guilliams.² She married Freddie Luke "Fred" Guilliams, son of Roy Lee Guilliams and Altha Vane Furrow, on November 7, 1969 at Rocky Mount, Franklin Co., Virginia.^1,2 Barbara Gail Wray died on June 24, 2019 at Virginia at age 69.¹ She Barbara Wray Guilliams, 69, of Callaway, died Monday, June 24, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Julia Wray; and brothers, Nelson and Aubrey Wray. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Fred Guilliams; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Mark Bollings; son, Danny Guilliams and fiancé, Sara; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and George Thomas Amos, Betty W. and Walter Lewis Hodges; the apple of her eye, granddaughter, Callie; aunts, Frances Law and Helen Wray; sister-in-law, Deborah Wray; granddogs, Molly and Lucy. Barbara was a member of Highland United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women, Sunday School Teacher and Choir. She retired from Source4 and enjoyed The Green Thumb Garden Club, sewing, scrapbooking, card making, and gardening. She loved serving the Lord, her family and others. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Highland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Amy Pannell officiating. on June 26, 2019.¹
