     Arthur McCoy Morton was buried at Clay Memorial Gardens, Clay, Clay Co., West Virginia.³ His Social Security Number was 233-28-6141.⁴ He Arthur McCoy Morton, 90 of Lizemores went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at home with his loving wife by his side after a long illness. Arthur was born on January 29, 1920, in Lizemores and was the son of the late Luther and Flora Morton. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Ernestine; son, Ron; brothers, Curtis and Homer; sisters, Reba Dorsey, Georgia Dorsey and Ottovie Ramsey; step-son, Fred Grose. He was a former trustee and member of the Lizemores United Methodist Church and retired from Union Carbide Mine after 34 years of service. He was a World War II Army Veteran. Arthur was a devoted Christian, he was a quiet and soft spoken man who had two families that loved him very much. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 15 years, Jeanette Morton; daughter, Susan (Norris) Ellison of Sebring, FL; sons, Rick (Sandra) Morton of Lizemores, Kermit (Faye) Morton of Winfield; sisters, Dena Fitzwater of Dixie, Flora Jo Kilburn of Kanawha Falls, Arlene Slusher of Bedford, IN; step-children, Pamela (David) Wilson of Victor, Roger (Sharon) Grose of Marietta, OH, Bob (Debra) Grose of Bentree; 8 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren. Burial will follow in the Clay Memorial Gardens with military graveside rites conducted by Clay VFW Post #4419. The family would like to convey their sincere thanks to Dr. Atassi, Ella Jones and Jennifer Bodkins.      Roy Lewis Grose Jr. Roy Lewis Grose Jr., 81, of Mount Hope, formerly of Claremont, Fla., passed away on April 11, 2008, at The Hilltop Center, in Hilltop, W.Va. Roy was born on February 18, 1927, in Swiss to the late Roy Lewis and Elouise Justus Grose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Everett Grose; and a son, Freddie Lewis Grose. Roy was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge, attended Nicholas County High School until he enlisted in the Army to serve his country during World War II. Upon his return from military service he graduated from Charleston Business School. He was employed at Union Carbide, and Jeffords & Moore as a bookkeeper and salesman, Playtex as a salesman, was a licensed real estate agent, and was the former owner and operator of Grose's Pike Motel on Harper Road in Beckley. Roy is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Margie Mullins Grose; a daughter, Pamela (David) Wilson of Victor; sons, Roger (Sharon) Grose of Marietta, Ohio, and Robert (Debra) of Bentree; and stepdaughter, Mary Ann (Garry) Baker of Bentree. He is also survived by grandchildren, Fred (Jennifer) Renick of Holden, Mo., Jennifer and Rebecca Grose of Princeton, Noah (Nikki) Grose of Lexington, Ky., Natalie Grose of Cincinnati, Ohio, Amanda Shelton of Cannelton, Jonathan (Beth) Grose of Gauley Bridge, Kelly (Jeff) Morton of Bentree, Justin (Kristi) Wilson of Rangeley, Colo., and Matthew Wilson of Victor; step-grandchildren, Theresa Holley of Bentree and Kim Liming of Claremont, Fla; 12 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Roy will be remembered for his wit, gift of gab and the choices he made throughout his life. He was a free spirit and came and went through this life his own way. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mary Kay Roberts, 62 of Merriam, Kansas passed away April 3, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. Mary was born February 9, 1952 in Waynesville, Missouri, daughter of William L. (Sr.) and Lorraine (Badger) Rinck. Mary was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her husband, Lee Roberts of Merriam; her father, and her step-mother, Vera Rinck; her children: Fred Rinck and wife Jenny, Christopher Roberts and wife Crystal, Angela VanNatter and husband Scott, and Jeffery Roberts and wife Kathleen; one sister, Gloria Rinck, and three brothers: William L. Rinck, Jr., Timothy L. Rinck, and Randy Wood.      David Carl Samples David Carl Samples, February 2, 1965 - October 14, 2018. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Carl Samples (Jackson, Ohio), born in Vine Grove, Kentucky, who passed away on October 14, 2018, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Innie Samples, Carl Carper and Amma Carper; his mother-in-law Norma Barlow; and his niece Amanda Ford. He is survived by: his parents, Hollie "Sam" Samples and Suzan Samples (Carper); his wife Melissa "Missie" J. Samples (Barlow); his daughter Tara Ellis (Clay) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; his sisters, Elaine Jones (Jerry) of Vine Grove, Christy Boeglen (Ken) of Radcliff, Julie Ford (Chris) of Radcliff and Rebekah Thompson (Ricky) of Vine Grove, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Keaton, Ava and Kyle Ellis; and his father-in-law Paul Barlow.
