His wife, Mrs. Rosa Jane Wilson, preceded him in death. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Rispie Ford and Mrs. Tidie Simms, both of Beckley, and a daughter, Mrs. Noah Vest, Corrine, with whom he lived. The body will be taken from the Sam Foglesong Funeral Home in Mullens to the church one hour before the service. on July 15, 1962.6

Meade, Md., and James and Ray Allen both of Sullivan, six daughters, Mrs. Mona Fair of Manhattan, Kan., Mrs. Leona Lucadder of Berlin, Md., Mrs. Janie Bowling of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Mildred Belvin of Portsmouth, Va., and Nancy and Lulla, both at home; one sister, Mrs. Stella Vest of Mullens; and 12 grandchildren. The body is at Calfee Funeral Home pending completion of arrangements. on February 3, 1959.4
