COPPER HILL WOMAN DIES AFTER CAR CRASH A Copper Hill woman was killed Thursday afternoon when her car overturned on the Blue Ridge Parkway between Bent Mountain and Floyd. Brenda Jenks, 46, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from her vehicle when her southbound car flipped and landed upside down. She was airlifted by Life-Guard 10 to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where she later died.A parkway ranger said the cause of the accident had not been determined... on January 11, 1992.⁹
