     Robert Lee Nester Sr. was buried at Jacksonville Burial Ground, Rt. 8, 0.25 miles south of Floyd, Floyd Co., Virginia.3,5 He Surrounded by his loving family, Robert Lee Nester Sr., 92, of Pine Knoll Shores, N.C., formerly of Floyd, Va., went to be with our heavenly father on January 17, 2023. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Cunningham Nester; long-time companion, Pat Nearhood; daughter, Deborah Nester Quesenberry Lucas; and grandsons, Kevin John Nester and Bryan Matthew Nester. Surviving are his children, Charlotte Phillips (Duane) of Williamsburg, Va., Robert Nester, Jr. Morehead City, N.C., Jeanette Nester Brown (Dale) Pine Knoll Shores, N.C., Teresa Nester (Susan) Floyd, Va., and Dale Nester (Stephanie) Fredericksburg, Va; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Robert was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a retiree of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. Robert took great pride when his children and grandchildren reached out to him for his technical expertise. He was the family's YouTube/Google guy before there was such a thing. He loved golf, boating around the Southern Outer Banks, clamming, and gardening, but his greatest passion was spending time with his family. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery with Military Rites by the Marine Corps Funeral Honors. Dad, Papa ...we promise we will watch for deer and slow down so as not to get a speeding ticket. We closed the refrigerator door, turned the lights off, we made up our minds, went out the door (in or out) and closed it behind us.3 He was born on March 7, 1930 at Berwind, McDowell Co., West Virginia.1,4 He married Pauline Frances "Polly" Trump, daughter of John Washington Trump and Carrie Etta Jones, on May 20, 1952 at Radford, Virginia.1 Robert Lee Nester Sr. and Pauline Frances "Polly" Trump were divorced on October 29, 1958 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.2 Robert Lee Nester Sr. died on January 17, 2023 at North Carolina at age 92.3

     Brandon Lee Williston Brandon Lee “Bubba” Williston, a devoted husband, father and son passed away tragically on April 11, 2024. Known for his kind heart and unwavering dedication to his family, Bubba leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion.Bubba was a beacon of love and support for his family, always putting them first. He found joy in the simple moments of life, often spending his days caring for his three beloved children and sharing his passion for outdoor activities, such as riding four-wheelers, fishing, and hunting. His devotion to his wife, Danielle, and their children, Brantley, Kyler, and Aubree, was unmatched, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Cookie, and his parents-in-law, Danny and Tammy Roberts. Bubba is survived by his loving wife, Danielle; their children, Brantley, Kyler and Aubree; his parents, Dow and Tammy; his extended family, including Mawmaw Rita Manning and Danny Terry, Pawpaw Whitey Williston, Grandpa Billy Broadwell; brothers, Justin Williston and wife Alisha and Corey Williston; sister-in-laws Amanda Roberts, Carrie Machincia and husband Brad, and Page Roberts; aunts Crystal Manning and Jesse Dolinger; uncle Keith Williston; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Bubba will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear.2 He was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 2880 North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.2 He was born on December 7, 1993 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.3 He married Danielle Renee Roberts, daughter of Kyle Daniel "Danny" Roberts and Tamra Leigh "Tammy" Griffith, on December 28, 2013 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.1 Brandon Lee Williston died on April 11, 2024 at Virginia at age 30.2

     Deborah Faye Nester Deborah Faye Nester Quesenberry Lucas, 68 of Radford, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She is preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Griffith; mom, Eloise Cunningham Nester; and siblings, Tamra Roberts and Donna Griffith. Debbie lived her life always putting others before herself. She always had a smile on her face resulting in a smile on your face. She enjoyed the simple things in life, raising two wonderful daughters and devoting a life profession of working with and around young students during her 30+ years of service to Radford University. She was known as the “card lady” to her father and siblings. Not a holiday went by that we did not receive an expression of the season. Debbie thrived on being around her family and friends who are truly going to miss her. She is survived by her children, Melissa Quesenberry & fiancé Vastine Walker of Dublin and Christy Roop & fiancé Mark Crawford of Christiansburg; father, Robert Lee Nester, Sr; grandchildren, Stuart Quesenberry (Morgan) of Kannapolis, NC, Corey Roop (Amri Enger) of Willis, Kelsey Roop (fiancé Peyton Bailey) of Knoxville, TN, and Lindsay Hunt of Dublin; great-grandchildren, Noah Quesenberry of Kannapolis, NC, and Hemma & Sergio Delatorre of Willis; siblings, Charlotte Nester Phillips (Duane) of Williamsburg, Robert Lee Nester, Jr. of Morehead City, NC, Jeanette Nester Brown (Dale) of Atlantic Beach, NC, Teresa Nester (Susan) of Floyd, Dale Nester (Stephanie) of Fredericksburg, Lisa Lovern (David) of Christiansburg, Diana Weeks (Roger) of Riner, and Debbie Keith (Douglas) of Riner; and special friends, Janet Garrett and Joe Lucas.
