He was born August 28, 1953 in Panama Canal, Panama the son of the late Ben F. and Lillian Cameron Smith. He was a US Army Veteran; an over the road Truck Driver for 25 years; taught for 7 years at Truck Driving School; was a Wheeling bus driver, and Ohio County Schools bus driver; and he enjoyed maintaining his rental properties and playing solitaire. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Sue Smith. Survivors include his wife, Mary Kittle Smith; five children, Sean Patrick Smith, Barbara Kathleen Smith, Jamie Francis White, John Russell Kittle, and Jenny Rebecca (Dave) Dyer; four grandsons; and two granddaughters.² He was born on August 28, 1953 at Panama Canal Zone.² He married Patricia Ann O'Neal, daughter of Jasper Woodrow O'Neal II and Evelyn Meadows, on October 10, 1975 at Bell Co., Texas.¹ Timothy Cameron Smith died on August 19, 2020 at Morgantown, Monongalia Co., West Virginia, at age 66.²

He was born on August 3, 1972 to Debi (O'Neal) Day and the late Terry Lee Day Sr. of Moundsville. David was a employee of Stonerise, formerly Moundview Health Care, for over the last 24 years. He enjoyed writing Poetry in his spare time and spending time with his family. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Christian Charles "CC" Day. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jamie (Conner) Day of Moundsville; sons, Dalton Day (Emily Groves) of Moundsville and David Zachary Day (Cheyanne Scheffler) of Moundsville; step-son, C.J. "Slim" Terry, who resided at the Worthy Hotel, died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital after a long illness. He was a World War II veteran and was a lifelong resident of Charleston.
