Born October 9, 1962 at Peterstown, WV, he was the son of Marcia M. Weikle of Wolf Creek, WV and the late Elgene C. Weikle. Duane owned and operated D. Weikle Landscaping. He was an avid NASCAR fan and fox hunter. He was a member of the Rock Camp Baptist Church at Rock Camp, WV. In addition to his mother, survivors include his two daughters, Madison Weikle and Brooklyn Taylor of Peterstown, WV; two sisters, Cathy Croy and husband Darrell of Wolf Creek, WV and Dena Frazier of Lindside, WV; one granddaughter, Ryleigh Taylor of Peterstown, WV; nieces Darilyn McGraw and husband Matthew and LaRee Zabaleta; nephews, Matthew Mullins and Heath Mullins; great nieces and nephews, Chylin, Jacob, Levi, and Gavin Mullins, Claire McGraw, Ian and Elias Zabaleta. Graveside services will be held at the Ballard Cemetery in Union, WV.² He was born on October 9, 1962 at Petersburg, Monroe Co., Michigan.² He died on May 21, 2021 at Wolf Creek, Monroe Co., West Virginia, at age 58.²
