For 34 years, Mr. Kramer had been employed as an electrician for the Kansas City Power & Light Co. He also had farmed. Born in Winchester, Kan., on June 22, 1944, he had lived in Kansas City and Platte City, Mo., before moving to Nortonville. Mr. Kramer was a graduate of the Maur Hill High School in Atchison, Kan; and attended Emporia, Kan., State Teachers College; and Highland, Kan., Community College. He earned an associate technician's degree from the Business and Technology Center of Kansas City, Mo. He attended Caring First Assembly of God Church in St. Joseph and was a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local No. 412. Mr. Kramer was preceded in death by his mother, Eulalia R. Surviving: his wife, the former Jamie L. Siela of the home; a son, Matthew J. of the home; a daughter, Melissa A. Kramer of the home; his father, William A., children; and a great-grandchild. on December 28, 2000.²

     Jamie Joe Rose was buried at Allen Cemetery, Gower, Buchanan Co., Missouri.^3,1 He Jamie Joe Rose, 56, of Gower, MO passed away March 3, 2024. He was born on August 8, 1967, to James Douglas and Sue Ellen (Gibson) Rose in St. Joseph, MO. He grew up in Gower and attended kindergarten at East Buchanan. The summer following his kindergarten year, the family was in a vehicle accident that led to him spending the next 51 years in a wheelchair. Jamie graduated from Helen Davis school in St. Joseph in 1988. Jamie started his adult life at the age of 21 in his apartment in St. Joseph. He loved adventure, fishing, camping, horse showing and was an avid KC Chiefs fan. Jamie was able to live out his bucket list that included going to the Budweiser Stables in St. Louis, taking trips to Branson, MO, Colorado, South Dakota, and Oregon, riding in a “big rig” and riding in a side car on a Harley. He had an amazing sense of humor, never met a stranger and never let his disability stand in his way. Jamie loved music, playing his harmonica and most of all being with his family. He attended the adult program at UCP and won medals at the special Olympics. Jamie was preceded in death by his father Jim Rose. He is survived by his mother Sue Ellen Rose; sister Kelly Hampton; his brother Sean Rose and wife Debbie; nieces and nephews Courtney Guess Treece, Kassie Guess, Jacki (Rod) DeWinkler, Jenni (Zach) Bestgen and Jake (Molly) Rose; great-nieces and great-nephews Zach Treece, Clay McGary, Kimmy McGary, Peyton DeWinkler and Dorothy Jane Rose; other relatives and many friends. Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower.¹ He was born on August 8, 1967.³ He died on March 3, 2024 at Gower, Buchanan Co., Missouri, at age 56.¹

     Randy Wayne Guess was buried at King City Cemetery, King City, Gentry Co., Missouri.⁵ His Social Security Number was 498-74-8120.³ He was born on April 4, 1962 at St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri.^3,6,4 He married Kelly Ann Rose, daughter of James Douglas "Jim" Rose and Sue Ellen Gibson, on June 4, 1983 at St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri.^1,2 Randy Wayne Guess died on November 6, 1992 at Plattsburg, Clinton Co., Missouri, at age 30.^5,7 He Randy W. Guess, 30, Plattsburg, died Friday, Nov. 6, 1992, in the garage of his home of apparent carbon monoxide poisoning. Born in St. Joseph, Mr. Guess had lived in Plattsburg most of his life. He was graduated from the Plattsburg high school and was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church there. Mr. Guess was preceded in death by his father, Wayne I., in 1987. Surviving: a son, Ryan W. of Plattsburg; four daughters, Courtney K. and Kassie K. Guess, both of Linwood, Kan., and Crystal M. and Coral A. Guess, both of Edgerton, Mo; his mother, Maxine Guess of Plattsburg; a sister, Janette Jackson of Plattsburg; and his maternal grandmother, Emily Holland of Plattsburg. Burial: King City, Mo., Cemetery. on November 7, 1992.⁵
