Lynn Miller Alsup was born circa 1943 at Illinois.1 He died in January, 1962 at Germany.2 He Word was received in Chickasha today of the death of SP/4 Lynn Miller, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Alsup, Route 1, Amber, in a U.S. Army hospital in Germany. Miller was injured three days ago when his truck overturned on an icy road. He was the grandson Mrs. Christie Haley, 802 Oklahoma. Miller was reared at Amber and completed his high school education after he joined the army. In Germany, he was stationed with Missile Battalion., a Battery, 333rd Artillery. He had completed two years of army service. Miller was a member of the First Baptist Church at Amber. on January 18, 1962.2

William Anthony Garst William Anthony "Tony" Garst, Sr., 65, of Roanoke County went to be with his family and the Lord in his heavenly home on Sunday, July 22, 2023. Tony was born on October 7, 1957 in Roanoke, Virginia to his late parents, JR Garst and Jean Newbury Garst. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Garst and his brothers, Chip Garst and Mike Camden. Tony worked for Asplundh Tree Company for many years and retired as a foreman. He took strong pride in his work and loved his employees and coworkers whole-heartedly. Tony enjoyed going to Ohio to hunt world records with Ron and Karen at Xtreme World Class Whitetails of Ohio. He also enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR. Spending time with family was very important to Tony, he loved eating home cooked meals and playing outside with the babies in the family. And last, but not least…."How about them Cowboys!" Tony was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan. Tony is survived by his son, Anthony Garst; grandson, Archie Liam Garst; his sisters, Cathy "Cat" Camden and Connie Garst; half-brother, Brian Stump; his aunt, Pam Hill; his nieces and nephews, Jeannie, Jamey, Corey, Lauren "Sissy", Michael, Whitney, Brittany "Pooterbutt", Luther, Camryn, Carrington, Jennifer, Bradyn, Natalie, Kenzie, Thomas, Spencer, Ella, and Nala. The family would like to thank Nurse Debra Shelton and Amedisys Hospice, and Caitlin & Brandon Caldwell for the care and kindness they provided to Tony.4 He was born on October 7, 1957 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.1,2,3,4 He married Lisa Gail Doyle, daughter of Col. John Wilson Doyle and Doris Jean Alderman, on April 6, 1985 at Roanoke, Virginia.1 William Anthony Garst and Lisa Gail Doyle were divorced on June 17, 1991 at Roanoke, Virginia.2 William Anthony Garst died on July 22, 2023 at Virginia at age 65.4
