Surviving are his wife, Kathy Jones; daughter, Debra Jones Morrison of Goodview; four grandchildren, Bryan, Chris, Richard and Katie; two step-grandchildren, Amber and Bobby; sister, Wanda Taylor of Dillwyn, Va; many very special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Keith Lawhorn of Stewartsville; a very, very special brother-in-law, Steve Lawhorn and wife, Lisa; and many true friends. Interment will follow in Jeters Chapel Cemetery. on March 31, 2004.⁴
