     Virginia Dorset “Ginger” Lacy Virginia Lacy Farrington, May 26, 1942 - September 9, 2003. Ginger Farrington, 61, of Edgewood, formerly of Richmond, Virginia, died at her daughter’s home in Rising Sun, on September 9, 2003. Born in Richmond, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Luther David and Mary Lee Leadbetter Lacy. She had worked for 11 years as a teacher’s aide in special education. She was active in Towne Baptist Church, Joppa. She loved music, loved to sing, was involved in plays, and enjoyed traveling. Mrs. Farrington is survived by her husband, Robert B. Farrington; a son, Lacy Shelton Gearheart and his wife, Baerbel, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; two daughters, Peggy G. McQuitty and her husband, Gary, of Rising Sun, and Christy Lynn Konski and her husband, David, of Joppatowne; a sister, Barbara L. Wright of Manteo, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Aly McQuitty of Rising Sun, Dylan McQuitty of Rising Sun, and Matthew David Konski of Joppatowne. Pallbearers will be: Lacy S. Gearheart, Gary G. McQuitty, David W. Konski, Douglas Whitmire, John Parsons, and Ron Slayton.¹ She was buried at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rock Spring Road, Bel Air, Harford Co., Maryland.⁵ Her Social Security Number was 229-56-3750.³ She was born on May 26, 1942 at Richmond, Virginia.^1,3,4 As of January 22, 1965,her married name was Gearheart.² She married Richard Tarleton Gearheart, son of Wilbern Shelton Gearheart and Glenice Armistead "Glennie" Woodson, on January 22, 1965 at Richmond, Virginia.² Virginia Dorset “Ginger” Lacy died on September 9, 2003 at Rising Sun, Cecil Co., Maryland, at age 61.^1,3,6
