Phillips of Moorestown, N.J. on December 12, 1961.²

He was a member of the Masonic lodge of Gretna, He is survived by his wife, Dora Payne Yeatts, and four sons, Fitzhugh, Roy, John and Lester Yeatts, of Gretna; two brothers, Jim Yeatts of Gretna and Raleigh Yeatts, of Charlotte Court House. Flower bearers and pallbearers were members of the Masonic Order, who had charge of the burial service. on August 16, 1939.⁴
