     Wendell Avon Yeatts Jr. YEATTS, Wendell A. Jr., 79, of Largo, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016. He is survived by his loving family.⁶ He married Nancy L. Kuertz.⁷ Wendell Avon Yeatts Jr. was born on October 15, 1936 at Richmond, Virginia.⁴ He married Patricia A. Broadbent on September 16, 1969 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California.² Wendell Avon Yeatts Jr. and Patricia A. Broadbent were divorced in December, 1970 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California.³ Wendell Avon Yeatts Jr. died on October 3, 2016 at Florida at age 79.

Born in Danville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Zade P. and Flossie Gammon Gammon. Her husband, Kermit Newton Mowery, died in 1994. She was previously employed with White Coffee Pot Restaurant. She was a member of Emmanuel Chapel. She is survived by one daughter, Jean Shelton of Richmond, Va; one son, William Hardy Jr. of Hagerstown; one sister, Edna Dalton of Danville, Va; and four grandchildren. Services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown. on October 13, 1997.²

     Her married name was Yeatts.¹ Mozelle Pernell married William Sidney Yeatts, son of Dr. Willis Christopher Yeatts and Frances Elizabeth “Fannie” Blair.¹ Mozelle Pernell was born on May 25, 1919 at Nash Co., North Carolina.¹ She and William Sidney Yeatts were divorced in November, 1962 at Dade Co., Florida.² Mozelle Pernell died on August 26, 2002 at Florida at age 83.¹ She Mozelle Pernell Yeatts McGrady, 83, passed away August 26, 2002. Mozelle was born May 25, 1919 in Nash County, NC. She was the 6th child born to William Clifton Pernell and Ella Lenora Hamlet. Mozelle received her Bachelors Degree from East Carolina Teachers College and taught there briefly. She married William Sidney Yeatts and had two sons. Mozelle along with her new family moved to Coral Gables when her husband was stationed at the Coast Guard base in Coconut Grove. As her sons got older she went back to teaching in the local elementary schools. In 1950 Mozelle went on to get her Masters Degree from the University of Miami. As a principal she opened Flamingo Elementary and later Snapper Creek Elementary and retired from Flagamigo Elementary after spending 38 years in education. Upon retiring she then built her dream home outside Clewiston in an area called Henry Isle Estates. She lived there 20 years before moving to Epworth Village in Hialeah to be closer to her sons and grandchildren. Mozelle was preced in in death by her husbands, William Sidney Yeatts, 1966 and Louis Charles McGrady, 1976 and by her siblings, Jasper Pernell; sisters, Iola Pernell Bullock, Rosella Pernell Aldridge, and Mamie Pernell Parish. She is survived by her two sons and their families, William Robert Yeatts wife Brenda Patton of Miami and James D. Yeatts and wife Karol Wolfe Yeatts of Miramar. Her grandchildren, Terace Yeatts of New York, Amy Yeatts, Kara Yeatts, Christopher Yeatts and Patricia Yeatts, all of Kendall. Also survived by her brother, Aubrey Pernell and his wife, Alta of Shelby, NC; sister, Anne Morris Pernell Long of Durham, NC. Also families of the Pernells, Parrishs, Bullocks, Aldridges, Longs, Yeatts, Andersons, Hardys, Drews, Clodfelters and the McGradys. on September 12, 2002.¹
