Charlie was very active with the Gretna Youth Sports as a sponsor, supporter, and as an assistant coach. In addition to his mother he is survived by his twin daughters, Ann Lewis Hunt, of Evington, and Molly Yeatts Hunt, of Concord; three brothers, C. David Hunt, III, of Davidson, NC, Stephen L. Hunt, of Orlando, FL, James Coleman Hunt, of Gretna; a sister, Rebecca Dare Sparks, of Shallotte, NC. on December 12, 2007.7

Mr. Yeatts was a former board member of the University of Virginia Student Aid Foundation. A lifelong Methodist, he was a Mason and a member of North Ridge Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Harriet Kidd Yeatts; a son, Warren Thompson Yeatts, Jr, of Raleigh; a daughter, Winifred Yeatts Kinlaw and husband, James Brady Kinlaw, Jr. M.D. of Asheboro; two grandchildren, Whitney Kinlaw of Richmond and Mallory Kinlaw of Asheboro; three sisters, Mrs. John Slocum of Lynchburg, VA, Mrs. Harry Weathers of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Mrs. Irley Bonnett of Tyler, TX. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. on April 25, 2001.3
