     John Michael Hedrick John Michael (Mike) Hedrick, 66, of Lynchburg passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born on May 27, 1955, in Lynchburg, VA, Mike was a son of Janis M. Hedrick and the late John William Hedrick. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp. He was an avid bowler, car enthusiast and loved playing a game of "cornhole". He leaves behind a loving wife of 43 years, Sharon R. Hedrick, two sons Robert Michael Hedrick and Christopher Scott Hedrick (Brittany). In addition, he is survived by two brothers and one sister Wendell (Moose) Hedrick (Angie), Brenda Meeks (Phillip) and Tim Hedrick. He was also a loving Papa to his grandchildren Weston, Mason, Addie, Jax, Avery (Ramsey), Brantley and Griffin Hedrick. He is survived by numerous nieces/nephews and preceded in death by his nephew Jason G. Meeks. He was an employee of WestRock for 40 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Shelton; her daughter, Paula Rowe and her granddaughter, Laura Light. He enjoyed farming and loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his sons, Larry "Billy" Moore and his wife Margaret of Climax and Lindsay "Ricky" Moore and his wife Patsy of Gretna; daughters, Nancy Hollingsworth and her husband Paul of Climax and Betty Adkins and her husband Jerry of Chatham; a brother, Clyde Moore and his wife Georgie of Climax; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny Moore, Robert Moore, Clevie Moore, and Dempsey Moore; a sister, Blanche Moore; and a great-great granddaughter. Graveside services will be conducted at Highland Burial Park. The family would like to thank the care-givers Gretna Team Nurse for all they did for him. on April 6, 2015.4
